I bought these shelves originally to put in my craft room to hold some craft supplies. They were brilliantly easy to install in space out that I ended up buying another set to display some Legos. I absolutely love the look of these and they feel really sturdy. Installation and assembly was a breeze to do by myself and they seem like they will hold the weight based off the equipment that came with it. These are stylish shelves. I am using them for a couple of small bookshelf speakers above my computer desk. I did not use the included anchors and screws at all. If you've used proper drywall anchors before, you can tell immediately that the screws included are not going to have enough "bite" to be secure. Instead, I used medium-duty (75 lb) screw-in anchors, screws, and washers from my local hardware store—four per shelf. The brackets sit nice and flush against the wall and feel secure. As others have noted, the shelves just slide onto the brackets. I wish there was a convenient way to affix the shelves to the brackets so they don't slide off. Four stars because of the shortcomings which I had to address myself. But otherwise these are affordable and look nice. ... show more

As other reviewers have said, they slant downward and will not mount at a 90 degree angle. Wish I got something else and didn't already drill holes in the wall for these. UPDATE- I have rectified the issues I experienced with the seller. I can recommend this, but just be sure to install correctly or you will get a sagging where the shelf is not flush with the wall. You can avoid this but, be careful when drilling into the anchors. Use drywall anchors or maybe drill into wall studs (i used drywall anchors). ... show more

The shelves look very nice and fit flush to the wall but the metal brackets are not straight. 1/3 are level. The other 2 were either upwards or downwards. Overall pretty good for the price. Just don’t put anything heavy on the ones that aren’t level

I will leave my original review... however I was contacted by the company and am surprised they actually listened and took the time to to contact me. You will still need hardware to attach the shelves for now until it is updated. But it's an easy fix at your local hardware store! I would recommend these shelves for the price they do look nice! Average at best product. The rods have to much space inside the housing so they wiggle and sag... the screw provided DO NOT work with the dry wall anchor screws as they are not long enough to bite into it. Overall it is exactly what you expect from China... but with a few extra parts from a hardware store you can make them work. They do look good as far as cosmetic aperance but u will some know how installing them in drywall atleast. ... show more
