Put this on a tall narrow window next to entry door that faces common interior hallway in my building. Installed it mainly for light control (our hallway is lit up all night) and for some privacy even though the glass portion of our window is smokey so someone can't see directly through. It was easy to install and has been up for months now without coming off. The roll was not quite big enough for entire window and there are a few inches at the bottom not covered however no plans to finish it as that bottom gap is not an issue for us. ... show more

This was easy enough to put on using common sense, since the directions are vague and in broken English. I got this to use on our west facing sliding glass window since I have houseplants there and I'm not willing to close the blinds. Seems to be alright. Knocks the sunlight to a tolerable (but still slightly annoying) level when sitting in front of the slider. We put the 17" length in kind of a strip 6" from the top just to block out the sun from blinding us, but still allowing the plants to get the full amount of sun. Sitting here looking at it, smoothing the bubbles caused small line/scratches on the entire thing. Kind of annoying, but not surprising at this price point. All in all it does the job I needed it to. I included a picture to hopefully show the light difference of the part of the chair in no direct sun, the light shining through the window tint, and the full sun on the chair. ... show more

There were two orders. The first was great. Installed easily. No problems. The second order came with a note that it was an ‘updated’ product. We followed the same installation procedure. No luck! It just would not stay. Sad!

My front door has sidelights and I didn’t want to use sheer curtains any more. These clings were easy to cut to size and install, and from the street, they look like plantation blinds. You can’t see through the windows unless you’re right up against them, but light can still filter through. I’ve gotten compliments on them. The window film is quite heavy-duty feeling. We were installing on small side-light windows by the front door. First couple of windows we cut oversize which you may need to do on larger windows. The film is quite a heavy plastic and was not that easy to cut/trim with razor blade. This made installation quite time consuming. On the last couple of windows we cut to size (7" x 11") with no real overhang (extra filem). This worked very well. No trimming after installation was needed. We used a shower squeegee that worked well, and a small squeegee for the tight corners. Overall we are happy with results. Still allows light in and can also still see enough outside to see who's at the door. ... show more
