then using different variations of these for the last 10 years and most of them don't hold up remember to set your exposures so that you're not hammering down on the siding so that they can still expand a contract with temperature change this goes on easily and works perfectly takes a minute to get used to your aiming point but five or six pieces and you be good recommended ... show more

I’m not sure why this product is getting bad reviews. Yes, it took me a bit to figure out how to put it on but once I did it was easy to put on and take off. TECH TIP: Remove the spring, slide the head down to the open notch and remove the tip. Reverse to install tip. I am a little weary that this is made of plastic but I’ve shot 50 nails with it so far and have had zero issues. It is a little tough to use on J-Channel since the head gets in the way but the nails are on a very slight angle and seem to be fine. This is defiantly better then driving nails with a hammer and busting up your fingers. Worked great on regular siding. I already had my corners on but I don’t think there would be any issues with getting the nails in on them. Seems to be made of some type of hard plastic so I think it will stand up over time but we will see. The good thing about it being plastic is it will not scratch the siding if you have a tough angle to drive the nail in. ... show more

It says easy to instal…I wrench my own stuff and I didn’t see how this swap was an “easy to install” item. To be fair, the gun is new to me as well but internet and YouTube searches failed to turn up any instruction.
