  • Very cool and convenient!
When you pull the trigger, be patient; takes a moment to build up the air pressure to actually fire, so keep holding it in place. Only change I'd make is to add some sort of manual trigger lock beyond the pressure switch.

  • Works great
This made my last woodworking project much easier didn’t have to dig out the air compressor and haul it into the house. This little nail worked perfect and never gave me a bit of a problem. I’ve been using Ryobi products for quite a while and this seems to meet my expectations so far.

  • Great Value
Used this gun in a crown molding install project. It did an excellent job. The 18 volt battery set-up is great because I have other Ryobi products that use the same battery. This is the best product of this type for the money in my opinion.

  • Sturdy, affordable and will make you happy
I have to say, I was shocked at how well this brad nailer worked. I have several projects I'm working my way through which need small nails (rather than the somewhat larger screws I'm used to using) and discovered this tool. It takes 2 inch brad nails which is what I was looking for in a cordless tool and - bonus - this item is part of Ryobi's One+ series that uses the same battery for other tools in the series (I have an impact driver from this series), so deciding on this item was a no-brainer. Candidly, I had just hoped for a decent tool and it didn't disappoint. Variable nail depth setting came in handy for the different materials I was dealing with. The built in work lights were unexpected, but another pleasant surprise. And it's built well. You know when you pick up something and it 'feels' like it's cheap? You don't get that feeling with this tool. It's got just enough heft for me and is sturdy. You can tell. Nothing's going anywhere. No part is going to fall off. Well done, Ryobi. ... show more

  • A great addition to my collection
This has been a lifesaver. I love not hauling a compressor and hose around and it's definitely powerful enough for small trim jobs. If I were a professional, I don't know that I would like it as it's a little slow to recharge between shots. Works great with a high amp hour battery.

  • You can't get a better nail gun for crown molding
This was my first time buying a nail gun, so I am not a professional. The battery is great because it works with my other Ryobi tools and it is very convenient when compared with having a compressor and a hose attached. It is a bit heavy, but I think that it is expected. The battery lasts for about 400 nails, so you can work with it a lot before having to charge the battery. The gun has three safety switches that keep you from nailing yourself. The nail got jammed maybe six times while shooting about 500 nails, so about 1% fo the time. It is quite easy to remove the jammed nail, but you have to lift a lever that requires some strength to do it. There are guns with more features, but for a DIY homeowner working on a small project, it is perfect for the price. Overall, I am very happy. ... show more
