  • 100gal flexible rain barrel
Color: Green Size: 100 Gallon
This product assembled easily; held water; Note the 2 valves connected easily. The bottom white valve was plastic and did come apart easily. The top valve connected easily. There was no documentation for the fitting needed to fit to each valve to extend the valve to some hose/ other... Note2: the top had a screen to stop leaves entry. This worked well. Overall, recommended for reorder. ... show more

  • Two issues with this
Color: Green Size: 50 Gallon
I use this to collect and gold water for my animals. Works Good. Thick plastic. Issue is that the legs bowed out in the heat and over time so hard to get them to remain at full height. Had to get pvc pipe of same thickness to replace the bowed legs and I needed marine jab weld because of a leak at the nozzle connector. Other than that I still use these. Would get the blue 55 gallon barrels next time, but not a bad buy. They do the job but you may need to address those two things. ... show more

  • Works great!
Color: Green Size: 50 Gallon
I bought one of these, shoved it under a downspout and with the next rain got 50 gal of water. It worked so well that I bought 3 more for the other downspouts. With 3 of them the overflow went downhill away from the house. One, however overflowed into the ground next to the foundation and got the basement wet. This was a problematic drain anyhow so I had to make other arrangements with it. It had previously drained into an underground pipe that opened up down the hill 30 feet from the house, so I put the rain barrel at the far end of the pipe. To have 200 gal of rainwater to water my plants and shrubs is wonderful! The material is sturdy as is the zipper that closes the lid. The overflow connection is too small to handle a thunderstorm type rain, so be sure the barrel is tilted so the overflow spills away from the house. I have no use for the lower spigot. I just dip a bucket into the barrel and water my plants that way. ... show more

  • Not stable
Color: Green Size: 100 Gallon
I was very excited to get this large capacity collapsible rain barrel but all it took was the first real rain to ruin my enthusiasm. It filled quickly then toppled over despite being on flat ground and all supports intact, spilling 100 gallons all over the place and causing damage to the fence it landed against. I set it up again with some chairs placed around it in hopes I could capture more rain and that work as the storm had passed and we were down to a drizzle. I was able to collect maybe 25 gallons. About 6 weeks went by with no rain (I live in Texas and it's summer). This past weekend, it pour due to storms created by a hurricane that hit the Texas coast. Despite chairs and other supports, once it got full it just collapse, crashed over and knocked everything down. 100 gallons of water is extremely heavy and I am aware of that, but with the continued flow of water from the roof adding to the full barrel it could not handle it so something had to give...and again I lost 100 gallons of precious rainwater (needed for my orchids) and in the end got maybe 5 gallons once we got it set back up. The storm had passed and not enough rain came after to fill the barrel. I feel like throwing it on a fire or tossing it in the trash but not until a new, proper rain barrel that is sturdy and not collapsible arrives. Collapsing is the number one talent of this barrel and it will do it consistently unless you build an edifice around it that can withstand the incredible pressure that builds up as it fills during torrential downpours. Do not buy this barrel. Repeat, do not buy this barrel. Spend the money on a solid, story barrel and forget about the convenience of a lightweight, collapsible option unless you live somewhere that has gentle rains and can build a framework to keep it protected. ... show more

  • Definitely portable...not stable at all.
Color: Green Size: 100 Gallon
Bought two of these to set up a collection system for my garden (prior to knowing about used totes for roughly the same price). They are super easy to set up, however, they both collapsed multiple times in different locations. One has a bit of grading, and the other was in a spot that gets inundated during severe rain and the weight shifted a bit down into the mud. There's essentially zero support if the weight shifts at all while full. I dropped a sump into the main collector and shuffled to the next collector during a subsequent storm and it worked okay, and I'll probably build a cage around both of these so as not to waste them, but plan on this not being a good solution to store 100 gallons of water without some type of additional solution. ... show more
