Looks good but it is hard to assemble. The supports did not stay together when putting them into the assigned slots. I also had issues with zipping the lid closed.

  • On The Fence
Size: 100 Gallon Color: Green
This is my first rain barrel so I don't have much to compare this to and the only rain barrels I've ever been around were the hard plastic ones my grandpa had when I was a kid so I kind of just assumed it would be a little easier to work with. The assembly on this thing was a little rough. The instructions were not clear enough for me personally. I'm no stranger to putting things together and I also have written instructions for complicated air sampling devices so I understand the need for clear diagrams and zoomed in pictures ensuring the customer who has never used your product before, understands exactly what goes where. I think I've got it figured out but since we haven't had any rain in some time, only time will tell if I closed up the openings the correct way because I certainly can't tell based on the instructions. As far as the barrel itself. It's pretty flimsy without water in it. I was expecting more structure to it. Mine stands up but is sort of falling into itself at the same time. The plastic feels thick and sturdy so it seems like it could hold up once full. We'll see how it goes once we get water in. ... show more

  • A Garden Essential for Sustainable Watering and Savings
Size: 100 Gallon Color: Green
I recently purchased this collapsible rainwater barrel to use in my garden, and it’s been a fantastic addition. Rainwater is a much better option for my plants than chlorinated tap water, and this 100-gallon tank makes it easy to collect and store plenty of it. The collapsible design is convenient and space-saving, especially during the off-season when it’s not in use. Setup was straightforward, and the included filter, spigots, and overflow system work perfectly to keep the water clean and easily accessible. I also added a DC water pump, which provides enough pressure to reach the farthest corner of my garden. Not only has this rain barrel improved the health of my garden, but it’s also helping me save a few dollars on my water bill. ... show more

  • Seems good so far
Size: 100 Gallon Color: Green
I wasn't looking for anything really fancy, but I thought a rain barrel would be good to use to water the few plants I attempt to keep alive. I was excited to set this up and give it a try. In theory, setting it up sounded easy, but it did take a bit of time. It is a large floppy piece of material that you have to move around as you try to insert each leg into the slots along the outside. The legs fit in there perfectly, so it is tricky to get them started. Once you get it started it will slide in easily enough. There is a cap on one end of the leg and that is actually the side you slide into the pockets from the bottom of the barrel. I am sure the cap is there to keep it from tearing any holes, but it is what makes it so tricky to get started. You really have to work it into the material. The feet of these poles are added onto the other side, so it has something to stand on. The hardest part of the set up is to slide the clear tube into the pocket it goes into. It suggests using soap to help it slip through easily. The tricky part is that it slides in great until it goes just far enough that you can't move it one way or the other! I ended up grabbing it with a set of small tongs from my kitchen to pull it through the rest of the way. I think this tube would have been much easier to work with if it hadn't been bent upon arrival. It was also difficult to get this tube to stay attached to the spout it is supposed to connect to. Once you get it all set up it seems to be sturdy enough. The material seems to be thick and durable. I like the mesh on top that makes sure only water is going into the barrel and not all the little leaves and twigs. The rain has failed me recently, however, so I have not been able to give this a thorough test yet. It has caught a bit of rain from the tiny amounts we have gotten recently. but not enough to even reach a spout yet, so I will have to update my review later on. I like that I can attach a hose right to this barrel, so hopefully soon I will be able to try that out. I'll try to remember to come back to this review in a few weeks with more details, but for now I think this is going to work out just fine for me. ... show more
