This RV awning from VEVOR is extremely good quality for the price. The listing is very helpful in explaining how to measure the awning based on our existing camper awning. The instructions on how to properly install the awning are also very clear. In my area we are currently in tornado season so the 50 to 60 mph winds have not given us a calm day to install this awning. I have unboxed the awning, checked it for size as well as any possible problems and quality. Just like the listing shows the VEVOR brand is on the front right of the flap. I knew this one I ordered, but it is much larger than I expected. I’m not a big fan of advertising for someone when I am paying for their product. Based on the huge logo, I am rating this product four stars. Our old awning had dry rotted, and there was no way to save it. This will save us many dollars and keep our lawn chairs and outdoor cooking area dry during the inevitable downpours that happen wherever we go camping. I hope my thoughts, opinions and photos help someone trying to decide if they want to purchase and install a new awning on their camper or RV. ... show more

We travel to Arizona every year and need all the shade we can get to shield us from the desert sun. We decided to replace the old awning and this new one was the perfect fit. How did this slip through the cracks? I installed it before I noticed the series of small holes in three lines across the middle of the fabric. Do you know how much time it takes to take an awning apart and replace the fabric? Now I get to do the whole process again. To their credit, I did get a full refund, but I would have been much happier to get a functional product than to get a refund and start over again. If mine is the only experience like this in these reviews, please ignore it. Flukes happen, even to good companies. But if my experience is repeatedly reported by others, I imagine you will be better off steering clear. ... show more

I didn’t know where to measure to get the correct size but the listing made that easy by explaining that the measurement is made at the arms, not the fabric. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it was sized better than the one installed at the factory. It’s not a huge difference but every few inches helps when it’s raining. The instructions are quite thorough. Some years ago I replaced an awning, with no instructions, only to have the rewind mechanism uncoil. That was a miserable experience, and one that Vevor helps you avoid in advance, with proper directions! I didn’t use a micrometer to measure the thickness but the old awning (less than 8 years old) has two very thin layers, whereas Vevor feels the same thickness and is one layer. The edges are bonded, not sewn, but I don’t really know which is best. Combining these factors with the listing price of $69 compels me to recommend this item. 👍 ... show more
