  • Great shade for extended stays
One of the things i love about RVing is watching sunsets from the tops of mountains. Unfortunately that means I park facing the sun a lot. Used the shade twice in extended stays now. It does take a bit to get set up, not that there's much else for me to do, but notable. So I only used it for multiple day stays. Once up it's great. Takes the edge right off the sun yet still allows a great view. Recommend. ... show more

  • Does A Great Job!
This sun shade is durable, easy to hang, and fairly light weight. It does an excellent job of filtering out direct sun light- providing welcome shade, while still allowing the cooling effects of a gentle breeze, and allowing you to see the scenery beyond. I use this primarily as a side panel for my camping trailer's awning, but have found it equally useful for my "easy-up" portable canopy, as well as with my covered patio at home! The shade has a heavily-reinforced border all the way around it, and features reinforced grommets for attaching rope, hooks or bungee cords for hanging. Works great, and seems built to last. I'm satisfied! ... show more

  • Can be used on other things
This is meant for a camper awning. I got it to try on a popup canopy. I did some DIY and used some nylon rope and hung it from the frame work of the canopy. It helps cut down on the heat from the sun. So you don’t need to have an RV to attach it to. With a little bit of rigging you can use it on other items. It also seemed to help with any wind gusts. A normal tarp or canopy side wall will catch the wind and try and push over your canopy. This allows are to pass through so it doesn’t affect your canopy. I recommend this as it has other uses besides for RV’s. ... show more

  • Useful shade, needs directions
This awning sunshade feels fairly substantial. It did take a moment to realize how to set it up - the end with the flexible plastic tube is supposed to slide in to a channel on the awning. It took some time to slide it in since I first tried it with the warning already up. It should be easier to install on an awning that isn't out and supported. I also discovered that it is slightly longer than my awning, but having a bit extra at each end is no big deal. It is fairly easy to take, although I didn't realize it included plastic stakes. The storage bag is a huge plus. It looks nice and does a decent job shading against the sun. Overall, definitely worth it for regular campers. ... show more

  • Great Fit!
Was finally able to try this out on my RV and it fit just fine in my Dometic awning in the slide rail. Although, my awning is actually wider than this shade, you can move it to whatever makes sense. I found that it’s a two person job to install because as you continue to feed it in the rail, the tighter the friction becomes so you need one person pulling while the other person continues to feed in the other side. Over all a nice product and does a decent job. Came in a nice carrying bag along with stakes in case you want to stake the bottom into the ground. There are grommets to allow this at the bottom of the shade. ... show more

  • RV Wind Screen Shade protection.
This a great RV wind/sun screen. It is well made with durable, strong material. It is nicely hemmed with good construction and ample amount of cord that feeds through the groove in the awning roller. The screen also comes with 4 stakes and bungee cords to hold it tightly in place. Although we were able to get it installed, it does not easily fit our 2000 Nash 17K trailer awning. The arms on the awning are so close to the groove on the roller that there is literally no way to slide the screen onto the awning in the normal position. We were able to install the screen by rolling the groove to the top position (facing the sun) and then getting up on a ladder to feed the cord it into the groove. This is an issue with our trailer, not a problem with the manufacturer. The screen also provided additional privacy and extended our patio space under the awning which is a great bonus. ... show more
