  • Couldn't be Happier!
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter Chews Size: 60ct
My 6 yo Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has always "scooted" off and on since she reached adulthood. I only ever had her glands expressed twice. Then earlier this summer I noticed some problems in the area (swelling, discharge, matted fur around the area). I couldn't get into my vet (he's so awesome, he's booked out for weeks and he was in the hospital for two weeks from burns, poor guy) so I looked online on how to express her myself. I felt confident (we live in the country foothills of Northern California on a farm with chickens, goats and an emu) and I have done many medical procedures on my critter babies over the years. So I gave it a go... She screamed, I cried, my son had to calm us both down. I tried to take her to the emergency vet, but because Cavaliers are so happy all the time, she sat in the waiting room and wagged her tail at everyone. They wouldn't even triage her because they said she was so low on their list and didn't seem in pain!! We sat for over an hour as I watched, among many other animals go in, an iguana with a closed eye, a parakeet with an odd feather and a chihuahua whose owner said couldn't pee well (it peed twice in the waiting room just fine!). Had they actually had my dog stand up and looked at her like they were supposed to, she would have been taken in right then. So I took her home and did some research. I found this product (the chews) and the most used methods to treat her condition (manage pain and antibiotics). I gave her my geriatric dog's Tramadol and used Neosporin on her bottom. Don't judge me; we pet parents do what is needed for our babies, plus I have a chemistry degree so I'm comfortable with dosing calculations. :) My vet was still in the hospital, but I was able to get her in to another clinic (like my vet, they are so super awesome, unlike the emergency vet - I may have to write some Yelp reviews, too). :) He put her on antibiotics like I knew he would (dang, I wish California allowed us to buy those for our pets OTC). And he said Tramadol was the right med and I dosed it correctly, but he gave her her own Rx in liquid form. I bought the wipes along with the chews and everything came out fine (ha ha). She was so much better by two week follow-up that the doctor didn't want to express her glands; he thought it would irritate them too much after the initial trauma, so he said to let her do it on her own and watch her and keep using the Glandex chews. Even though she is small, she is a farm dog; not a typical lap dog. She chases squirrels and my chickens (naughty!) and tiny mouth-sized tennis balls in our pool. It has been over two months and I haven't seen her scoot once. In fact, she seems to be feeling so good and has so much energy. I couldn't be happier. I just ordered more. I hope it works for your pup, too. ... show more

  • Holy heck, this stuff works for my doggo!
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter Chews Size: 60ct
We were having to take our doggo into the vet almost monthly to have her glands expressed. The vet suggested we give Glandex a shot - she said it's like a 50/50 success rate. Well, we lucked out because she's having to make those trips to the vet MUCH less often! I'd say my vet is right. Give it a shot. If it's even odds it works, definitely worth a purchase. ... show more

  • Tasty Pup Treats with Benefits
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter Chews Size: 30ct
Purchased these on a Vet recommendation. I can't speak for the flavor, but they do smell like peanut butter and the dog inhales them like they are treats, so I think they must be good. I have also noticed much, much less scooting. Fingers (and paws) crossed that it stays that way.

  • Dog won’t eat them
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter Chews Size: 60ct
This was recommended to me by my vet. I saw a lot of great reviews so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, my picky dog wouldn’t eat them. I bought peanut butter flavor. So, now I have an entire bottle that I can’t use or return. Probably will give it to a friend. Would be nice if I could exchange it for a different flavor. I’ve heard it’s a great product. Hope your doggie isn’t as picky as mine :( ... show more

I don't want that on my floors" dog scooting.... me: "That is not what the furniture if for" dog scooting... me: " Ewwww, that's where I sleep. Get off" dog scooting.... me: " Out!" (enter glandex) me: "Do you want a treat? Whose a good dog. • No go
Flavor Name: Pork Liver Chews Size: 30ct
I'm pretty sure that dogs that love all treats would love these soft chewy treats. My picky little eater just won't. But that's the way she is with most treats. I tried both flavors and really wanted her to like them. And let me just say I have probably tried 4 dozen different treats over the past 5 years and she's just hard. So I left 4 stars because I'm betting they get gobbled up by most dogs. ... show more

  • It works!!
Flavor Name: Pork Liver Chews Size: 120ct
I have been using Glandex for a couple of months and when I started giving these to my dog the results were immediate. My dog used to grind her butt on the carpet all the time and when I gave these to her she stopped. I swear by these, and my dog is much happier now.

  • Dog likes them
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter Chews Size: 30ct
Our puppy is having issues with his anal glands leaking every few weeks (🤢). I looked online and figured I’d give these a try since it’s so expensive to have his glands expressed 3-4 times a month. He seems to like the taste and happily eats them. It’s been several weeks and so far we haven’t noticed a difference. He’s small, so he only needs half of one per day, so the bag will last for 2 months. Hopefully by then we notice a difference. ... show more
