This is an excellent safe. I have been using this safe daily for 3 years. I open it in the morning and again at night. It has lights so you can see what your doing in the dark and its large enough for a full sized firearm with extra magazine. I have to charge it once every 3 months. Depending on what you use this for, it could mean the difference between your safety and a very dangerous situation. So I purchased this safe with the intention of having it on my nightstand and being able to quickly access my gun should I need to. While it would be quicker to just leave it at my bedside, with a new child being born, I don't want to run the risk of something happening and that's where this safe comes in. Before this I had a cheap Snapsafe that for some reason won't shut all the way and the top lid doesn't sit flush, meaning someone could easily access my gun without much force. Yes any safe can be broken into with time, but the more work the thief has to do, the less likely they are willing to take the risk. In any case, upon inspecting the safe, the quality is so much better and I love how much space it has within. It easily fits my 365 XL with the 15 extended magazine and I have space for another compact size handgun or some extra magazines. It looks like it could fit a full size as will but you'd have to fit it in diagonally. I'll update this section of the review once I try fitting my other handguns. Programming a pass code is very simple and the instructions included are very straight forward to follow. The key pads light up red as soon as they are touched or moved, something that will be very helpful in the middle of the night when you're trying to open it. They are very responsive and the safe opens very quickly with the lid opening all the way. There is a light within the safe to let you see and you can bolt the safe down or use the included steel cable to tie it down. Another feature that I wasn't aware of is that holding the certain key pad numbers for a few seconds allows you to turn off light, turn off proximity sensors (helpful for when the safe is in a car), check whether someone has tampered with the safe manual keys and key pad, and check the status of the battery. The safe comes with a rechargeable battery, cable lock, 2 sets of keys, and a charging cable, but no charging adapter despite the pictures stating that it comes with a charging kit. This is one of the main reasons why I have docked 2 stars because if the description and picture states that it comes with something, then it should. Yes everyone has a charger but now a days phones come with usb-c adapters and this uses a usb-a adapter. If you have one then you're good, but if you don't then you have to buy an additional accessory when it says that includes it already. Another reason is that I haven't had enough time to try out the safe and I'm only going based off of my 1st impressions. Overall I like the safe a lot and believe it will serve for the main purpose I purchased it, but I have a problem with something not being included when it stated that it was. ... show more

So this is the fourth gun safe I’ve tried. Wow!! It is awesome. Cost twice as much as the other ones I had tried but it is well worth the extra money. This safe is very very sturdy and well-made. Three times heavier than the other safes I tried. You can tell when you pick it up that they meant business when they created this safe. Everything about it is high-quality. Even the charging cable that comes with it is a top quality nylon braided charging cord.👍 very simple to program your code. I love that it has locking bars on both sides of the case as opposed to just one in the center making this thing almost impossible to pry open. The spring loaded hinges open the lid automatically and quickly but with just the right amount of force. I liked that it came with a quality rechargeable battery and the safe detects the polarization of the battery so it doesn’t matter which direction you install it and I thought that was pretty cool. So far I have not had a single code entry failure which was a huge problem with every other safe I have tried. With the other safes I tried code entry malfunction was common enough to be a fatal problem in an emergency. So far this safe has worked like a charm. It has some very awesome features. It has a proximity sensor so the keys light up when your hand is near the safe so you can see see the buttons in the pitch black. That is super awesome and very helpful!!! You can turn sound on or off. You do not have to keep it plugged in for it to function but the directions say that you can leave the safe continually plugged in and it will not harm the safe or your battery👍 Though it does recommend unplugging it occasionally to allow the battery to cycle down whatever that means. Press the five key and the keys will light up telling you almost exactly at what percentage of a charge battery has remaining. If your battery is running low and you forget to check it the safe will notify you so that you know you need to charge your safe battery. 👍👍 The anti-theft cable that comes with it is very thick and heavy duty. Just wow!!! I am so happy I chose this safe. I was trying to decide between five safes and ended up choosing this one even though it was the highest priced. Knowing what I know now I would’ve paid even more. I definitely recommend this safe to anyone!! I ordered this at midnight and it arrived on my doorstep by 10 AM. Outstanding.
