I liked it so much and some of its features that I ended up keeping this bag as well as the harder-sided version (different brand). I love the expansion possibility while still keeping it small when I need it to slide under the seat. It has more zippers on the front to allow easy, quick access on the plane to my more frequently used items (e.g., headphones, tissues, snacks). It is slighter bigger - about 1 inch wide and the weight is not three pounds but 5.1 lbs. Didn't want to take a chance with United Airlines so I had to return it.
