I love the pattern and look of the curtains but the fabric is very thin and one if the grommets is coming loose already. Not sure I would buy them if security or room darkening is necessary. I am a little disappointed..but love the look. I just bought more panels to make them thicker. I am editing this review because, although a grommet was loose on one of my panels, I was contacted by their customer service and asked if they could send me a new pair of curtains. I wasn’t sure about these curtains at first because the background was more of an off-white than I expected and I’d already hung white sheers. But I loved them once they were up. I took two pics, one during the day to show the sheerness, and one at night to see the pattern more. It’s a lovely Jacobean-like pattern, with smaller details than than the typical Jacobean patterns you see, which I like. And the blue is a medium to dark teal. As for sheerness, I would definitely put them in the light-filtering camp. As you can see in the daytime picture, you could use them as sheers if you wanted more privacy. But they have a nice weight that works as the main curtains as well. ... show more

Very happy with this. The sheerness was as expected, the fabric was very nice. I did need to press them before I hung them, but I expected that, I don't want a 10 minute ironing job to discourage anyone. I'm very happy with them and was so happy to find the 90" length in this style.

I purchased these curtains because I liked the old fashion style. I have cape windows so I cut them down to my desired length and resewed them. With the extra material I removed I made tie backs. I am happy with the results.

If you are looking for privacy, these are not the curtains for you. I have blinds, so this is not an issue for me. They did come wrinkled, but who would think they wouldn't. The bottom hem was slightly off on each side of the panel (meaning the center was longer than the sides), but this doesn't bother me since they hang behind furniture. I wanted curtains to frame out a window and add a touch of green to the decor. The green is a soft sage against a linen color background. And the feel is that of a light linen. I gave them 4 stars because they fit my need and the price was just right. ... show more
