I like these. I wanted to replace the ones I had and this offered the best solution for the variety. Great color and would recommend. As far as sturdiness and durability, I mean they are stoneware so they seem to be very good at the moment.

I looked for dishes for a long time and finally decided on these. I bought 3 6 piece settings of these and also 12 cereal bowls. They are just beautiful! I am not sure how durable they actually are as they don't seem to be as dense as some stoneware. So I am going to be extra careful with them. But it will be worth it! They are so beautiful and have such a wonderful blend of color tones that will also allow a number of different serving dishes, glasses and mugs that I have to go with them, which is also a huge plus since these are not offered online. Although they were packed very well, three of the pieces in one box were broken. The company responded right away and asked for pictures to match the hues. I believe they are going to send me replacements right away. I am just so happy with them! ... show more

I bought these to mix in with my 20 year old set of mixed color everyday dishes. I love the colors! After washing the full set and putting them away, I noticed one plate had a small chip out of the rim. Over the next few days of use several more chips appeared on the large plates. I decided to exchange thinking I had gotten a batch that was handled roughly and the next would be better. The replacement batch arrived with the glaze on many plates and bowls scratched deeply and several spots where there look to be rough fingerprints in the glaze on the rim. That being said I thought I could cobble together a workable set, one of each color. That was when I noticed the mold. I had read a few reviews that some people had issues with the dishes retaining moisture, but I thought that would not be a problem as we live in a very dry area. I was very wrong. One of the bowls had grown so much stinky green mold in just a few days that it stuck to the bowl below and they had to be pried apart. I have treated these new dishes no different than my 20 year old stoneware dishes in washing, drying, stacking and storage. They are obviously not made to last through years of use but only to look pretty on the table. I am very disappointed and I am sending back both sets and starting my search over. ... show more

I bought the blue set, which has six different shades of spa blue, teal, blue, etc. Very beachy or coastal look. I love the way they look. They are extremely heavy, making you think that equals durability. My disappointment in them is that after 7 months (I bought in October), we've already lost 2 of the 6 plates due to breakage. Just last night my husband dropped one into the sink and it completely cracked all the way in half. Some of the plates are also showing chipping on the edges. I replaced wedding plates from 23+ years ago because I was tired of them and wanted something new, and these new ones certainly won't last 20 years like my cheaper Corelle set did. The only plus side is that you CAN buy them separately and not just in sets, so eventually I guess I'll buy another set of blue dinner plates to replace the 2 that have broken in 7 months. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had this set for about a month now. I love the style and color of this dinner set. I didn't give much thought to the pasta bowl plate but love it so far. It's doesn't easily fit the dish washer racks but it's manageable. It's good quality, very good scratch resistantance and pretty easy to clean. When I first opened the box I was so happy with how beautiful they looked and how heavy and well made they felt. Then, as I washed them, dried them, and started to put them away, I noticed marks, scratches, glaze bubbled up, streaks in areas where the paint is faded, and two are cracked beyond use. I had already tossed the box and because it already had taken awhile to get them, I’ve decided to just live with them. Not happy that a bowl and plate are unusable and based on the scratches they came with, I doubt they will hold up over time, but they’ll do for now. I’ve given it three stars because the ones that weren’t damaged look great. I used them in the microwave and they were fine to handle afterward. I see the issue with the raw pottery on the bottom rim but with a dish cloth, they seem to dry fine for me. Because of the poor quality control I wouldn’t purchase from this company again, which is sad because their products look great. ... show more
