I bought these to put in a pair of Columbia light hiking boots. I got those boots as a gift and they have zero arch support and minimal cushioning. I was pretty suspect that they would provide support and the price seemed kind of high. I replaced the existing insoles with these "orthotics" and the difference is remarkable. After a couple of short hikes I'm convinced. These are great! Pros - they fit perfect in my hikers - extremely comfortable - great support Cons - the price, I had a gift card or I would not have purchased them - they took a few hikes/walks for them to break in or settle. During an extreme flare of plantar fasciitis, I bought these to find relief. I was waiting for my custom orthotics to be made and I decided I would try anything. The reviews were good, but I really didn’t expect the quality to be this nice or for them to work so well. They offer great support, are comfortable, and exactly what I needed! The price is just right for buying several pairs so I didn’t need to change them from my sneakers to my boots to my moccasins. I now have my custom orthotics, which of Course are great, but I will continue to use these in my occasional shoes to avoid the hassle of swapping them in and out! I'm on my feet 80% of the time, and my heals started to hurt so I thought I give these a try. It took a day or two to get use to the insoles. I love the support that these insoles provide. I am a correctional officer and on my feet for 12 to 16 hours a day. These are by far the best insoles have ever used. I am 300 pounds and again on my feet 12 to 16 hours a day, five days a week. At the end of the day, my feet are a little sore, but completely bearable. The first eight hours of the day I don’t even feel like I’ve been on my feet non stop , because they work so Good. These insoles are fairly hard, which is good for my fallen arches. However, the arches weren't as high as I needed, and they advertised they worked for high/fallen arches (or I read it in a review). (That is not stated on the packing, however.). I wore them for my 8 hour shift in my steel-toed's today for work (let's just say A LOT of walking) and my feet hurt worse than my flimsy ones I just removed made them feel. I also now have broken blood vessels under a couple of toenails because it is so thick (I assume this is the reason) that my toes did not have enough room in the top of my shoe. I'll wear them for a few more days. If they're still not better, I'll have to trade these fairly high-grade insoles into a pair of old, soft sneakers and keep looking for my purposes. ... show more

I’m a 230 lb, 5’5 female. I work in retail so I’m on my feet for about 8 hours a day. These are amazing! There is a night and day difference compared to when I don’t wear them vs when I do. They completely cut out my foot pain in my heel/arch area. The material is sturdy and the arch area of the insole is thick plastic, which I was surprised by, but I’ll wear any material as long as it helps the pain. I have bought three pairs of them (so I don’t have to keep switching them out of different shoes) and I intend to buy more. The only draw back is the fact that they take up some room in your shoe so they’d be a no go for shorter tennis shoes (like blow fish shoes, if you know that brand). If you are in retail and have plantar fasciitis, don’t think twice, just buy it and thank me later. Well worth the price. ... show more

I bought these for my husband, he works in a factory 12 hours a day 4 days a week. He was constantly in pain when he was barefoot, and on his feet all day at work. He finally went to the doctor and it turns out it was Plantar Fasciitis. I spent hours looking for reviews on good insoles for him as the doctor told him that is really all that is going to help the condition and pain. I choose to order these for him based off the reviews of other customers here on Amazon. After a a few months of him using the product I decided to give a review. These are as good as the doctor recommended ones I had been buying from the hospital. I have super high arches, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, etc. The arch support is sturdy. They're comfortable. Heel spurs can still ache at times, but that can happen with anything.
