These are the best inserts for my feet. I've tried about a dozen different brands, including a pair of $500 custom ones. Have had plantar fasciitis for 3+ years, flat pronated feet, 180lbs. With foot pain limiting how much you walk, one is willing to try almost anything, cost is unimportant. So I have tried many inserts and many different brands of sneakers & walking shoes. These inserts give the most arch support of any off the self ones and they are cushioned with some flexibility. My custom inserts have more arch support, but are inflexible, so my feet tire start hurting sooner after walking awhile. Everyone's feet are different. Some reviews said these had too much arch. But for my feet, if anything, I would want a higher, broader arch that is flexible & cushioned. For sneakers & hiking boots, I have found Orthofeet to be the best, coupled with these Valesole inserts. ... show more

couple things to keep in mind. YOu'll need a pair of scissors and some steady hands to trim the item to the inside of your shoes. Ok that's fine. Second problem is all your ninja skills will be gone, as they make a noise similar to a balloon being squeezed when you walk around in them.
