I wanted a cordless vacuum without the heft price tag of a Dyson stick. I didn't want the stick design based on reviews of clogging. This little guy works great! I use it on my hardwood floors that I used to use a broom on. This is way better! It has great suction! We have pets, so this is my daily vac. I can also use it on the carpet or furniture in between using my full size vacuum. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver around furniture as it has a swivel head. I like that if I need a dust buster I can take it apart for that use. I bought extra filters which is a must. They are easy to clean. Just remove the filter, use a scrub brush to clean in the groves and get dirt out, along with tapping. I throw it in the dishwasher and then let it dry completely in dish rack. That's why you need extra filters. While one is drying you can kerp cleaning. It holds alot of dirt, hair, pine needles, debris without losing suction. Battery life is long enough that if I want to vacuum every room in the house I can; our house is 1400 square ft. It has a lighted head so you can see the dirt and bonus my dog goes nuts over that light! I have long hair so I do have to disassemble the head occasionally to clean out my hair as it gets wrapped around the bristles on the brush. It has a lower power setting so that you can do area rugs. I have small rugs in bathroom and entries. Put it on lower setting, a foot on one corner and you are good to go! I know these last a couple of years because I had a similar model, different brand and I used it constantly until it wore out- battery would no longer hold a charge and head was shorting out. Would have bought another of same brand but they went to a stick model. So their loss is thos companies gain. Will definitely buy it again. Works great for our motorhome too. Great suction on hard flooring and on carpeting, however it has a whine that is quite uncomfortable to my ears. Perhaps I am just sensitive to that particular pitch. It is easy to assemble which can be accomplished in just a few minutes. It charges quickly and holds the charge for about 30-45 minutes of usage. It is relatively sturdy while using, and stores without falling over with the handle upright. I believe it can fold to take up less space, but I haven't tried that feature. I can recommend it. After purchasing one for myself, I got one for dad too. Although this stick vacuum doesn’t replace a regular vacuum, it’s awesome for daily cleaning. I was surprised how powerful! Dad is using it to pick up cat litter on his sun porch. The battery life is long thank goodness because dad doesn’t keep on the charger but I do. Very easy to assemble and performs better than expected. Cord free is a bonus. Good size and lightweight. Would recommend as a gift or to anyone who wants the ease of replacing your broom. This is a lightweight vacuum that makes those little cleanup jobs effortless. It has good suction and the dirt collector is easy to empty. It has a reusable filter so there isn't extra expense for disposable filters. The vacuum portion detaches from the handle to make a handy portable vacuum for stairs, or furniture, your car, or those hard to reach places. So i purchased a number of different vacs on what they call "hand vac". They are might lighter, and more compact than full size vacuums, and they also detach to be hand held, like a dust buster. Basically they ARE glorified DustBusters. BUT!! They have some very powerful ones now. I tried the models with the motor on the top with the nice digital read out, and all the options. I also tried the ones with motor on the bottom. Much easier to manuver motor on bottom, as you are NOT holding the weight, you are using a long stick that acts as a level and guiding it...MUCH easier. It makes it a bit less able to lay flat to reach under very low furniture, but I found this to be no issue with 2 different couches I have, and 1 is pretty low. Also these vacuums are not really intended to suck up dust and dirt from rugs or carpets, but they do a pretty good job on very low pile, which this vac does decent enough to not need the large vac. If you rugs have hair longer than even half an inch, I would say forget it. So why are these useful? Lighter More maneuverable and reach more areas Now more powerful than older Dustbusters #1 reason, is now they have motored brushes to help clean up dirt So this was second to the Kenmore 24volt. this is 19volt. Most others were less. Even ones with higher volts did horrible in the brush pickup test I did using coffee ground that was already wet and used. Not a easy test. Most of the models with motor on top failed Others with bottom motors left a steak This did a decent job. The Kenmore 24v was actually the best vacuum. BUT, the lid and plastic is SO cheap, it bends in the hand, and the dust cup broke on the first day. This model is a LITTLE better, with better dust cup method, better plastics, but still some areas like brush roller clip being so small, and easy to fail. So while we like this better than most others, being in 2023, and not being able to design something that can last and not cost lots more than $100 is a JOKE and insult to the idea of advancement in technology. ... show more

This vac has a rotator brush plus suction, unlike most cordless vacs. It works well on rugs. It's great on smooth floors too. I don't have to empty the waste container every time I use it, like my previous vac. It lasts a long time after I charge it. I'm quite happy with it.

lightweight and easy to use, good swivel on head, good edge pickup. crevice wand useless: cheaply made and will not lock in place. hard to empty. filter unit extends into collection box, so when you turn it upside down to empty, the dirt falls down beside the filter and not out of the box.
