Purchased in July of 2020, I still use this Mokin USB-C multiport adapter daily in my elementary classroom. The HDMI port works great and keeps going even after having multiple falls. As far as I know, the other ports are still working fine as well, I just don't use them as frequently.

Update: the vendor reached out to me and through some email hockey we were able to get me a replacement (with the screw holes) free of charge. I originally ordered one of these & really likes the ability to use either VGAA or HDMI that I went ahead & ordered another one. I was disappointed that my 2nd order does not include the ability to screw in/tighten the VGA cable (see image). ... show more

I had a very expensive Dell Thunderbolt dock and it went out. This adapter did everything for $30, that's amazing! The only negative is that if you run the VGA and the HMDI at the same time the HDMI is not 4K. The HDMI by itself is 4K. This was not clear on the listing but clearly states this on the box. For $30 bucks who cares. It works great and is very solid. I just plugged the HDMI into the laptop directly. This completely replaced a $300 Dell Dock and free'd up a USB C port to boot. I am very happy with this product. I will get another one for road trips. There are a lot of these on this site but this one works well. ... show more

I've had it for 1 year, I've used it every day and it works excellent. I currently have it using it to share screen through the ThunderBolt (USB-C) port of my laptop. It works without any problem in Ubuntu 20.04.

I’ve had this adapter for about nine months now. It has worked great for everything I’ve used it for until today. I have used the HDMI, VGA, SD slot and usb slots all together with no issue on a MacBook with only a c port. Today I tried to charge my MacBook while using it and no matter what I do, it will not charge it. It tries to a few times and then stops. I’ve tried with just the charging and while using the USB with storage device attached and same thing. It’s good to use other wise.
