    • Why did I wait to order this?!
Was looking for a usb hub to clean up and connect multiple devices, but hate the current line of USB hubs...saw this one thought I give it a try. Wow, solid, basic, sturdy and just works. I really like how easy this was to mount to my monitor and I started to use all of my peripherals immediately.     • Perfect USB hub that is almost invisible
I picked up this hub because I was trying to declutter my desk in the office. Only keep the bare essentials on the desk itself and move everything off that was not needed. This lead me to move my laptop docking station under the desk, so I needed a way to plug in flash drives and other various USB devices working as an IT professional. This virtually disappears on the side of my desk and you would barely notice it was there if you were not looking for it. The hub only sticks out about a quarter of an inch from the side of the desk. making it very discrete. It works for MacOS and Windows with no drivers from what I can tell for either. ... show more

I have an adjustable standing desk and was looking for something that could let me keep USB devices from being moved around on the desk or otherwise affected when raising the desk to standing height, and this hub does the trick. I secured it to the back edge of my desk and the USB cable is long enough to reach my PC when the desk is raised or lowered. The only issue I have is that my headset microphone doesn't always work in Zoom, though it generally works in other applications while plugged in to the hub. I managed to get it to work better by switching the microphone off and on in Zoom, which is only slightly annoying. The hub was easy to attach to the desk, and doesn't budge once it's screwed down.     • The USB hub works well and is easy to clamp onto a desk.
I purchased 2 of these and they both are doing great. I like that fact it si metal and not plastic. I clamped them to the side of my desk and the long USB cable makes it easy to reach my monitor if I want to move the hub. Very happy with this product.

transferring files from one portable hdd to another just became super fast (compared to the last hub i was using).. i am still amazed every time i copy/paste files.. and i can clamp this thing literally anywhere!.. this is the best usb hub ive ever used. its all-metal body is strong and durable. after 5 mins of use, i put another one in my cart for my other computer lol.. been using it for about a month now and zero issues whatsoever. ... show more

This works perfectly on the edge of my desk. I'm not sure it would work so well on thinner material (or particle board)... but my desk is solid wood and it's just over 1 inch thick. For my application it's perfect.
