Very easy to use docking bar. Testing Devices - One 3840x2160, one 2560x1440, and one 1920x1080 monitors. - Two laptops. Home laptop is an ASUS ProArt laptop with NVIDIA graphics card. Work laptop is a Dell laptop with Intel(R) UHD Graphics. HOME LAPTOP WITH 3 SCREENS: Three screens connected to the home laptop (ASUS with NVIDIA graphics card): All three screens worked perfectly with full resolution (3840x2160, 2561x1440, 1920x1080) and my laptop screen worked at full resolution (3840x2400). I used the two HDMI outputs and the one Display Port output from the docking bar connected to a USB-c port into my laptop. WORK LAPTOP CONNECTED TO TWO SCREENS: Two screens connected to the work laptop (DELL with Intel(R) UHD Graphics): Both screens worked fine connected to HDMI. But the HDMI displayed at low resolution when I used the Display Port. They both worked fine with the HDMI plugged directly into the laptop and the DP plugged into the docking bar. My laptop screen was also working and visible at 1920x1200 under all test conditions. Fourth screen connection: I would suspect a fourth screen could be connected via the HDMI output of the ASUS ProArt laptop. Has anyone tried this? Comments Be sure to plug into a "full function" USB-C (look for the lightning bolt symbol on the port) Added advantages of this docking bar: 3MM Head phone jack is great since it provides a better location for the head phone cable One-USB3.1, Three-USB3.0, Two-USB2.0, plus two PD/Data ports (USB-C) provides plenty of expansion One-Ethernet port provides input. There is a button on the top of the docking bar which allows you to switch between extended and duplicated modes. I paid $55.99 1/5/2025 but is now (1/9/2025) sells for $44.79.     • The card reader stopped working. Customer Service was excellent. See several updates below.
See Updates below. At first, this solved my problem of not having enough USB ports on my laptop. I have two external hard drives, a printer, mouse, and keyboard, plus I plug in chargers and other devices part of the time. I have a Go Pro camera, and always take the SD card out and plug it in to the computer to download video. It is many times faster than plugging the camera in. This is where the Hub failed me..... It has an SD card reader, and a micro SD card reader, which I really liked..... Until they both quit working. The USB ports still work, but if I plug a card in the card reader, the little light in the Hub comes on, but it does not show up on the computer. I am hoping I can get this issue resolved with the seller. Updates later. Update: I just noticed that on the product page description in now says "Please note: this USB Hub does not support Video output. I don't think that was on there when I bought it, but I could be mistaken. Funny thing is, it DID work to transfer video from the card to the computer files when I first got it. Then it stopped doing it after about 4 months of use. I just tried a card with non-video files, and it still does not work. I am trying to get in touch with the seller to see if this can be resolved. Update 5-23-22: The company responded via email. They said it should work with video files. After several back-and-forth emails asking me to try re-formatting my SD card, etc, they finally agreed to send me a replacement. It arrived in a few days. The replacement fails to show an SD card in either slot, just like the old one after it failed. This one did not work right out of the box. Obviously this is an issue with this USB Hub. I am changing my rating to one star. Update May 31st, 2022: After getting frustrated with the replacement not responding, I left this thing alone for a while. Marstech Customer Service did not give up, and contacted me later, still offering to help. I tried it again, and the SD slot started working. The Micro SD slot still was not working, but then started working after a few more tries. Kinda funky, but at this point, the replacement is working okay. I am changing my rating to 4 due to the good customer service, and the fact that it is now working. I hope it does not have a relapse! Update June 7, 2022: Relapse! The card reader portion stopped working. I tried their suggestion of uninstalling and re-installing the device in Device Manager, but could not get it to come back. However, after informing Marstech, they refunded the purchase price without being asked. I feel the company responded promptly and well each time, and did everything they could to make it right with me. 5 stars for Customer Service! ... show more

My Dell Docking Station died and I needed a replacement. I found this USB-C docking station and decided to give it a try based on the two HDMI ports. The only drawback is that it doesn't have internal power so you will need the power cable that came with your laptop to power the device. There are plenty of USB ports for your external devices.
