Nice case. Lightweight and sturdy and nicely accommodates the adapter needed to transition from Go Pro to mic but....the case also nicely surrounds the lens making the typical rubber lens cap now unable to fit. I contacted the company and they said they would mention it to management but had no suggestions on what to purchase in the mean time. ... show more

Took a chance on this since it didnt have any reviews but this is awesome! My GoPro Hero 7 Black fits perfectly with no rattles and the GoPro USB C to 3.5mm audio adapter slides right in and with no rattle. Works on all my GoPro mounts, tripod and selfie stick.     • Perfect compact case to use as a rack for a light weight vlogging setup
The whole reason I purchased this case was because it solved a lot of the issues I had with setting up a rig to use my GoPro for vlogging. Why? 1. This is the perfect setup. The GoPro easy easy to add/remove from the case. 2. It has a place to store that stupid external mic adapter that you have to purchase from GoPro in order to use an external mic. 3. The cold mount on the top of the case raises the external mic high enough that it is out of your shot even with the wind shield on it. The equipment I use with it is: 1. GoPro Hero 7 Black 2. This thing is absolutely awesome. Does not add much weight and seems very sturdy. Nice tight package. I use it with an Edutige etm-001 external mic with a lavalier dead cat. Works perfectly.

I opted for the plastic as opposed to the metal one. Reason: save a little weight while hiking, as I know the ulanzi kingman power grip and metal trip legs will add to the weight. Seems well built, makes for a nice vlogging setup for my hikes and outdoor YouTube channel.
