In my profession, I often have to look impeccable and be out the door in a flash as soon as a client calls. This URPOWER Handheld Steamer for Clothes is a great support for me at those times; either to get my clothing ready in the morning, or for a quick garment refresher throughout the day. What I like about it: ~ Simplicity in Design & Function: I've experienced clothing steamers that are fairly complex, with hoses, rolling tanks & racks that take up a lot of space in the closet. This handheld steamer is a single, lightweight handheld unit. Great for a minimalist lifestyle! ~ Super Fast to Set Up & Use: Simply fill the reservoir, pop it onto the steamer, plug it in and turn it on. The iron heats up in mere seconds, and once the flashing light goes solid, you're good to go! ~ Effective: Works great on most fabrics! I have found that it smooths out natural fabrics much faster than synthetics, but I think that's pretty universal with steamers. ~ Great Steam Output: So much so, when I used it near a smoke/CM detector, it began chirping a warning at me that it was about to make my eardrums ring! ~ Comes with lint remover/brush attachment. ~ Spouted water cup included, for filling the reservoir. ~ Compact and great for travel. So, it took me a few minutes to find the best technique, which is to hold it close to the garment, and go slowly in a downward motion. Because this steamer is so compact, the water reservoir is small. I had to refill it a few times for 6 garments, so bear that in mind. The cord is long-ish, and even longer would be helpful.     • Works well but, Power Button is in odd spot
The URPOWER Steamer for Clothes performed admirably in use. It's lightweight, heats up quickly, and is compact. I steamed my curtains, a few shirts, and a blanket. Although I hate ironing, using the steamer was ALMOST fun. The ONE problem is that the Power button location causes one to turn the unit on and off randomly. Why place the power button on the handle by the user's palm? The water chamber is a fluid weight. It moves back and forth with the steamer's motion, and one has to use one's grip on the handle to compensate and maintain control of the product. The URPOWER engineers put the Power button exactly where one needs to hold it tightly to keep the steamer balanced. I would weigh the position of the power button if I were purchasing the unit again. Maybe it's not a fatal flaw to anyone else, but I accidentally turned the unit off multiple times. The button will become an unnecessary daily use issue, especially if there are other readily available steamers without the problem. If only the power button were next to or, better yet, WAS the Power Indicator Light. ... show more

This handheld steamer gets piping hot and generates powerful steam in just 15 seconds - great for quickly de-wrinkling shirts, dresses, etc before heading out the door. The detachable water tank is really convenient for refilling easily. Despite being compact, the steam output and heat is impressive. It's been a gamechanger for keeping my wardrobe looking crisp without having to lug out the full-size iron and board. Well-built quality at an affordable price too. This steamer is effective at removing wrinkles, but it took longer than I liked to remove the wrinkles. As a result, and due to the heaviness of this steamer, my shoulder began to ache. So I had to switch hands in order to alleviate the strain. On another note, it does a decent job at removing lint, but I noticed that it was stretching out my sweater, because the brush head clings to the fabric, so after a few passes I stopped. I didn't want to ruin my sweater. Also, this steamer is easy to operate. It heats up really fast. It pushes out a lot of steam. However, the water tank doesn't come out with ease, it jerks when removing it. In addition, I noticed that after I was done removing the wrinkles my shirt felt damp. I don't like that at all. I guess the dampness is a consequence of being too close. But I had to get closer than the recommended distance because when I wasn't close the steamer wasn't doing a good job at removing the wrinkles. Overall this steamer gets the job done, but I don't know if it's really worth the asking price. Btw, I'm concerned that the steamer I received may be a used one, because right away I noticed that the boxing was off. It wasn't packed how a new product typically is, and there was no label or cover on the steamer's head. ... show more

This steamer is my new obsession... It's crazy fast to use, heats up in seconds and works it's little butt off. The first picture is a shirt I love to wear to work that is extremely prone to wrinkling when I wash it. The second picture is the same shirt after about a minute of steaming it!! I got a little too excited and ended up steaming all of my favorite clothes that were wrinkled. The left side of the pink pants are before steaming and the right side is after (again, took less than a minute). I all in all I did 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts and only had to refill the reservoir once, and that was mostly because I didn't turn the steam off when I went to fig through my laundry basket for more things to steam. I loooooove that the head is also an iron. If a particular wrinkle is stubborn I can just lay the steamer head directly into the shirt and it is taken care of in SECONDS. I'm about to get rid of my regular iron, this thing is way better and I don't need to figure out how to store an ironing board in my tiny place. It even comes with a little cup so you can fill the reservoir with the exact right amount. My main complaint is that I wish the instructions were a little bit clearer. I couldn't see where it told where you fill the reservoir with water. After messing with it for a while I learned that you have to take off the little rubber bit on the back of the reservoir to fill it. Just make sure to replace it after you fill it or you will spill water everywhere. :) I'm thrilled with this steamer and will be using it all the time now!! ... show more
