Pretty and useless now. Stopped making steam within 2 months and maybe 5 uses. I thought spending 2x the average cost of a steamer meant a better quality item. I was very wrong. Sad this is outside my return window.

The steamer seemed sturdy and would be easy to use. I purchased it before my move and recently got unpacked and settled in to use many of the items I purchased- this being one of them. I initially bought this handheld steamer to test it out because it’s smaller, making it convenient because of its smaller/ more portable size. I had some wrinkled clothes I wanted to try and smooth out. This steamer actually exceeded my expectations. I was able to smooth out the different sections of the shirt in very small increments of time, around 1-3 minutes. It also heated up quickly, and I like that it has 2 settings. The stand it has is also nice and I like how it also comes with an additional brush attachment. I like how the design looks very modern and sleek, it’s nice to look at and isn’t tacky. I bought this after my iron died. I have always wanted a steamer, but knew I also needed an iron for certain items and also for visiting family members who are more familiar with an iron. Thought this was the best of both worlds. It's just alright. Takes a lot of passes even at high steam to get any kind of wrinkle reduction and the iron itself doesn't get hot enough to really make a difference. My boyfriend has a steamer at the same price point and it runs circles around this thing. Guess I'll have to go back to a traditional iron. Also, this thing is MASSIVE, so I definitely would not say it's travel friendly. Wish it had a longer cord as well because my closet does not have an outlet in it and I have to set up an extension cord to steam my clothes because there really isn't anywhere else in my home that I can hang both this and my clothes up to steam. ... show more
