This steamer works great and is easy to use. It heats up quickly and removes wrinkles easily. It has different heating levels and the steam is hot so you do need to be careful not to get your hands near the steam. Oh my god! I’ve been in the market for a good handheld steamer and this one is it!!! (Backstory) My roommate a couple of years ago had a cheap, as she described it, $20 steamer that the whole house used freely and it worked great, we didn’t have an iron or ironing board but her steamer did the trick. Now I’m on my own and need a steamer, hers was a gift (although the giver told her the price), so she didn’t know where to get hers from. Sooo I bought a cheap $20 steamer off of Amazon thinking it would be just as magical as hers. WRONG! It didn’t get out any wrinkles so I returned it and kept looking. I came under the impression that maybe steamers weren’t supposed to get out wrinkles, then saw online that they can replace an iron! So I came across this one and loved the idea of a 2-in-1 iron steamer. This thing works wonders!! Oh my god, I had a super wrinkly dress that I decided to test this out on and I will admit, the iron function wasn’t very good but with the steam I was in shock! I kept saying “wow”, “wow”, “wow”!!! Because of how easily the wrinkles came out of my dress! And I wasn’t even steaming the right way! I had literally just laid my dress down on my bed and got to town. I resell clothing so I want my pieces to be in the best shape for the customers. This thing works and heats up faster than all the ones I’ve seen on the market, I really recommend this, if you’re thinking about getting it, do it!!! Edit: I’ve seen a lot of reviews about water leakage, thankfully I have used this quite a few times now and I have had no problem with leaking, so to each their own! ... show more

    • Lots to like. Some to dislike.
Likes: Produces enough steam, quickly comes up to temperature, comes with useful attachments, and useful functionality as a steamer or as an iron. Dislikes: Priced $30 too high, tends to spurt water along with the steam, too small water container, water container too hard to pull out, must use distilled water, no need for Mode or Steam button—just needs a single numbered dial for the steam intensity (or not—always having high intensity is good enough because there are included attachments to reduce the amount of steam hitting the garment) and have it always turn the steam off when you set it down (rather than having to set that feature with the Mode button), and product is a bit large. I almost returned this steamer (for all the Dislikes reasons) but decided to keep it because it produces sufficient steam. I’ll continue to research other steamers before making my final decision. ... show more

I’ve been using this steamer for almost two years now. I tossed my iron after the 2nd use of this. It does a good job of de-wrinkling both hanging and flat item. I say “items”, as I also use it to sterilize my bedding while on the bed! between washings. Love the option to set to iron without steam, and steam up to turbo boost settings. Plenty of water to steam several adult-sized items. Only thing I don’t like is the puttering sound it makes as the water level gets low. Quite loud. Just can’t steam around a sleeping baby. It is hefty in weight and size; but the lighter weight ones I tried just don’t handle the wrinkles as well and definitely not the flat ironing functions. Nice length cord. Buy? YES ... show more

    • Disappointing Performance - Water Leakage Ruins the Experience
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Conair 2-in-1 Handheld Steamer and Iron with high hopes of efficiently steaming and ironing my clothes. However, my experience with this product has been quite disappointing due to one major flaw: water leakage. From the moment I started using it, I noticed water bursting out of the steam vents, leaving my clothes damp and in need of rewashing. This issue completely defeats the purpose of having a steamer and iron combo, as it only adds unnecessary steps to my garment care routine. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the manual, including checking the water tank and adjusting the temperature, but the leakage problem persists. It is frustrating and time-consuming to constantly wipe down my clothes and surfaces to prevent water stains. Moreover, the water leakage poses a risk of damaging delicate fabrics, as it may leave watermarks or cause discoloration. It’s disheartening to spend money on a product that not only fails to deliver its promises but also creates additional problems. While I appreciate the convenience of having a 2-in-1 device, the consistent water leakage issue overshadows any benefits it may offer. I had expected better quality and performance from a reputable brand like Conair. I would strongly caution potential buyers who are considering this product. Unless Conair addresses and resolves the water leakage problem, I cannot recommend the Conair 2-in-1 Handheld Steamer and Iron for Clothes. It’s a regrettable purchase that fails to live up to expectations and leaves clothes wet instead of well-pressed. ... show more

    • Finally!!! If you can get one that doesn't spit boiling water, it's the AWESOME!
I went through (3) of these things, went through (2) dark teal ones from Wal-Mart (doesn't include accessories), and one from Costco (white with the triangle shaped head). Had to return them ALL because they were all boiling hot water guns right out the box. Figured I'd try one more time so I snagged the blue model from Amazon (w/the accessories) and out the box its AWESOME!! Works as it should, lots of quality steam with NO LEAKING!!!! So, either QC @ Conair is terrible, or its just a hit or miss with these. Great unit though if you can get one that works. ... show more
