  • Game changer
Color: Ebony-Incline
I work from home, in the Pacific Northwest. We get lots of rain / snow / ice during winters and talking long walks outside to get my 10K steps / day is time consuming and also challenging with my meeting schedule. I was getting stiff knee joints / tendons due to my lack of mobility, and the rower a few times a week was just not making up for the lack of walking. This treadmill has filled the gap in my daily fitness routine by adding soft physical activity while I can get work done at the computer. 1.6mph: I can type and create documents, be productive. 2.4mph: I can click stuff but it gets a little challenging to do precision work with a mouse. I can still type on my keyboard. Designers in Figma / photoshop and similar software will start struggling. 3mph: my favorite walking speed, but you start sweating after 10min. No precision mouse operations possible, clicking requires heavy focus, I can watch videos / participate in meetings but my body movement is impossible to hide and you clearly look like you're at the gym while on a video call. I love the auto incline feature: 2% is my favorite. The remote makes operating the treadmill a breeze and pausing stops the motor very quickly. You get quite a bit of time to run to the kitchen / BR etc before the treadmill turns off automatically. You resume where you left off when unpausing, speed comes defaults back to 0.6mph when you do. Cherries on top - it's relatively quiet! - Wheels allow for easy relocation and storage of the treadmill when I'm done. Note it's pretty thick and it doesn't fit under my couch. - Been using it for a few days now, no complaints so far! This piece of equipment ... show more

  • Great purchase - love this walking treadmill
I wanted a walking treadmill but felt overwhelmed by all the options available. I read a ton of reviews and ultimately decided to try this one. I am happy to say I had an extremely positive experience! The product arrived quickly, was well packaged, and easy to set up. I am a small woman and got it inside, out of the box, and set up all by myself. The setup was super simple, just take out of box, plug in, add batteries to remote and you're good. Fortunately I had read the other reviews that said you had to turn the power button located at the front of the treadmill on (in addition to pushing start on the remote) so I was completely prepared for that. The package came with a bottle of the lubricant and an adjustor to center the mat, but I haven't needed either yet. I was thrilled when I plugged in the treadmill and realized how very quiet it was. I can easily hear television, music, conversations over it without even having to turn up the volume. I really like this particular model for a bunch of reasons - it has a lower profile, so I can fit under a bed, desk, in a closet, etc. The track is perfectly wide enough for me (and my husband) and the length is great for my super tall teenage son. It's easy to increase or decrease speed or pause the motion with a quick tap of the remote. The best part is this doesn't weigh much, so we can pick it (we tend to pick it up with the mat we purchased and move all at once) and use anywhere in our house. This is great for after dinner when we're just watching tv - I can easily get in 5000 steps while watching an hour of our shows. I checked the dimensions of this and purchased a cheap mat on Amazon to go underneath; works great and we haven't had any issues at all! Since it's cold outside where we live, and I work long hours, this has made a dramatic impact on my health. Very glad I purchased! ... show more

  • Good under-desk treadmill for working at home
Color: Ebony-Incline
I got this treadmill to use with a new standing desk and have been using it for about 10 days. It was simple to set up, easy for me to use, and is reasonably easy to move aside if I wish to sit. I am really happy to be able to get some movement in while working at home. I put my Apple Watch in my sock or slipper so I can quantify I'm getting more steps in. I haven't tried to verify the metrics on the treadmill display, since I let the watch do the tracking (and I haven't been concerned enough to calibrate the watch!). A benefit that surprised me: if I come across a situation at work that makes me anxious, I really like being able to walk off nervous energy (previously I had a bad habit of walking to the kitchen -- dangerous!). Pros: -Treadmill arrived assembled. I was walking on it a few minutes after getting the packaging out of the way. -I am glad I spent a little more for the variable incline feature, for more ergonomic options and to feel a bit more exertion, even at walking-while-working speeds. -The remote has just the right amount of controls for me -- start/pause, faster/slower, raise/lower. It works well, I think it does need to be pointed it at the right/front corner of the treadmill. -I has a good speed range for walking, starting with a very slow .6mph (not a bad speed if you are typing) to 4.0mph. If I wanted to use it just for exercise on a rainy day, I could. -I am a strong, athletic, but small female in my mid-50s and the weight is light enough I could bring it in the house by myself and move it back and forth so I can sit/stand easily enough. I plan to keep it out near my desk where I will use it, so I am not concerned with storing it or moving it far. -The treadmill is very quiet if it is on and you are not walking on it - 47-50dB, measured on the desk surface ~40" above the treadmill with my iPhone. I feel comfortable if I need to speak in a meeting, that I could step off to the side, unmute, and not be distracting on the meeting. It is a little louder when you are walking on the belt, up to 60dB. I haven't tried talking on a zoom while walking yet. I think I will test this with a friend first. -It just fits in my office -- I have about 36" between it and a corner of my office which is just enough room to drag it back into the corner to have room for my stool if I wish to sit. Cons are of minor consequence to me: -It would be nice to have controls on the treadmill in case the remote stops working, but I didn't want to buy one with a rail, or spend more so I had to compromise on this. -As one other reviewer mentioned, the level doesn't reset when you stop/power off. This would be nice to have, because if you don't lower the belt down to level 0, then you can't roll on the wheels. The workaround is to remember to reset to the lowest level before you stop if you want to roll it. -Power cord and switch are on the end where the wheels are, so you would need to unplug the cord and perhaps be careful of the switch if you wanted to store it standing on end --not something I need to do. 1yr update- treadmill is still working great! I mostly walk or stand while working, unless I’m really tired or need stillness for deep concentration. I can do many work tasks walking at speeds between .6-1.4mph. I usually walk uphill. Sometimes I play music and “dance” on the treadmill at .6mph. Great for code reviews/email or even (simpler) coding tasks! To all the people who worked on Zoom noise cancelling, thank you from the bottom of my heart! ;) I sometimes wish for a second walking pad and a screen that’s easy to read in bright light, that I could somehow work in an outdoor space. ... show more
