Color is a blue-green. Went together with ease even for this 77 year old granny. Seems sturdy and won’t liftoff in a good wind. Definitely a keeper!

    • Comfortable but so many pieces

I bought this for my front yard. It arrived in a very small box which was concerning from the beginning. Turns out I was correct it is a lot of pieces to put together. The directions were okay but as with most furniture, it wasn't the easiest to put together with the directions that came with it. There's a lot of little parts and it took me a good couple hours to get the entire thing put together. It was also very very heavy in the box. However due to its heaviness it is a very high quality chair. Once I got it fully put together it was very sturdy which makes up for the fact that it's heavy and hard to move around. The color is all right although it's not a true brown it's more of a grayish brown. It's pretty comfortable to sit in it leans back but you're not lean back so much that you feel like you're lounging it's pretty low to the ground as well which makes it easy to get in and out of. I wish it came in a set because now I won't have a way to match other chairs to go with it. It's pricey but I think for how sturdy and comfortable it is it's worth the price if you're willing to put together all the pieces to set it up. Price at time of review: $169.99 Quality: 5/5 Value: 5/5 This was the perfect addition to my balcony. It looks exactly like my other adirondack chair from a different brand. Assembly was easy and straight forward. The instructions were clear and all the pieces/hardware were cleary marked. It took less than an hour from start to finish with only one person. Bonus for us... no tools needed. It came with everything needed. Using this has been great. It's ergonomic which creates a comfortable seat for longer use. I can read my book for over an hour without getting uncomfortable. I have a seat cushion for longer uses that fits perfectly on the seat and back. I also LOVE that this includes two hideaway cup holders. I use it for a snack and water and then push them closed when not in use. It's faired well on my exterior balcony. I live in the hot/humid state of Florida where we get almost daily downpours. This chair has held up through it all. The seat itself hasn't flaked, scratched, or been damaged in any way. I had concerns about a plastic chair but after I opened the box I realized that it not the plastic I was thinking of. I have outdoor furniture made from HDPE that is excellent for exposure to the environment. This is equal to if not better than HDPE. Very sturdy and thick. Assembly took me 15 minutes using power tools. Supplied is a very nice screwdriver compared to other kits you get. But it is so skinny that you can’t easily screw in the four screws. So I got my #2 Phillip screwdriver and I still had problems getting the screws in all the way. I had 2 choices drill the pilot holes deeper or get my power tools. Power tools won and the screws went in easily. Take note that the parts that you screw in have counter sunk holes on one side for the screws. The bolts have a hex head and are easy to install with the supplied wrench. Since I had the power tools out I found that a #30 star bit would work, so I used that. The 4 screws will be the hardest part of the assembly. My pilot holes might have not been drilled deep enough into the frame and I hope that yours are. I used to make Adirondack chairs out of cedar until the price went through the roof. This chair is very comfortable and is made to last a very long time. It also looks great. Included is a small sanding block that the manufacturer said you should use it to clean the chair. Since the color is thru out the pieces it should always look good. The cup holder bottom is not smooth like the rest so I used the sanding block to smooth it out some. The addition of a wine glass holder is very thoughtful since I have not seen this before. I also have some painted Adirondack chairs that need painted every year or so to keep them from rotting. My cedar Adirondack chairs also need to be stained every two years. I normally get 5-10 years on the wooden ones since I leave them out year round. Now I have a no maintenance Adirondack chair. Price is reasonable but I would still like it to be lower around $100-125. As long as a tree doesn’t fall on it I will have it for many years. If you want to store it for the winter you can easily disassemble a few parts for storage and it will go back together easily.
