Like that the length of the hoe is adjustable. Can be used full length when standing to gain leverage. When kneeling or sitting in the yard you can shorten the handle and use it as a had tool. Find this to be a convenient feature. The blade connects to first part of the handle via locking bolt. Tools are provided for attaching it. The remaining handle segments screw in which makes it easy to add remove length as needed. The blade edge is sharpened. There are plastic covers over the spikes. Don't forget to take them off before using. Took it out to the yard to give it a test, Being January, don't have gardening to do and the ground is near frozen and hard. How is sturdy and has a good feel to it. Expect it will last many years. I'm ready for my spring gardening. ... show more
