We bought a cheap non battery version and used it for a couple of years. But ran into certain positions just impossible to press. Finally We invested in the rp241 and this tool can do everything, including up to 1" megapress. A little expensive for home owner but so worth it. Way better than Milwaukee progress tool. I like Ridgid products simply because of the durability and a lifetime warranty option. However, after trying to register this online, it would not accept it. When I contacted customer service, they told me since I bought it from Amazon it does not come with the lifetime warranty, even though the box says lifetime warranty on it. My suggestion is buy it from Home Depot. The Tool works just fine. ... show more

Awesome Tool , Rigid RP241 had some water pipes that developed pinholes and leaking around soldered area , with the Rp241 was able to repair myself and made the job very easy, would have been very difficult to solder due to location and fire hazards, Awesome Tool Highly recommend.....
