I have a Lenox CBX26UH (Single phase) & 13HPD with no Aux heat pump. The original wiring was bridged on RC-RH and W-Y. I kept the jumper wire bridge between RC-RH (Makes sense as both need 24v) but with W-Y bridge on cool and on at 44 degrees it only blows hot air so I removed the jumper bridge wire W-Y and it runs awesome! It was up to 86 in here now cooled down to 77 degrees!! Also the terminals and battery are not exposed like my old thermostat. Foreign intel was aiming haarp at it and it was running my bill up and not functioning right. The new unit does not have the terimals or batteries exposed. THANK YOU!! Easy install. I'm not an electrician, just an ordinary elementary school teacher. Purchased 2 of these. First install took about 30 min bc of wiring issue in my house. Second thermostat tool only about 10 min as I k ew what I was doing. All you'll need is some screwdrivers!

LOVE the big letters and the blue light. It's been working great (unlike my last similar one where the heat never turned off and the house got close to 90º and our heating bill was thru the roof!) Anyway, I like this cute little no-frill unit. It's doing its job. Seconds after I installed it, it read "35" when I knew it was really about 70 degrees in the house, so I thought it was broken. No. This thermostat toggles between showing the humidity and the temperature. At first, I wanted to turn the humidity off, thinking I was only interested in seeing the temperature. Now I appreciate knowing the humidity. I only wish the blue back light would stay on. I use the house current, not a battery, and the blue back light takes nominal energy. ... show more
