With enough room to comfortably accommodate our family of eight plus gear, we never felt cramped or confined. Setting up the UNP Camping Tent was surprisingly easy, thanks to its intuitive design and color-coded poles. Despite its size, we were able to pitch it in less than 20 minutes, allowing us to spend more time enjoying the great outdoors and less time struggling with complicated instructions. Durability is another standout feature of this tent. Constructed from high-quality materials, including sturdy fiberglass poles and waterproof polyester fabric, it held up remarkably well against strong winds and rainstorms. We felt safe and protected inside, knowing that we were shielded from the elements. Ventilation was excellent, thanks to the multiple mesh windows and doors that allowed for optimal airflow throughout the tent. Even on hot summer nights, we remained cool and comfortable inside, ensuring a good night's sleep for the entire family. The media could not be loaded. We set this tent up at 2 o'clock in the morning after a hard day packing and driving to the homestead site. Set up was not difficult with two tent savvy adults, but I don't think one person could do it, at least not without a struggle. We put a large heavy duty tarp under the tent, ( the tarp will cover the cabin roof in a couple of weeks as this tent is temporary housing while we build the cabin) We are literally living in this tent and have done so for over a week now. No complaints. For the price point, there really aren't any negatives. The only tents I've used that I would choose over this one cost 5 times the price. It has rained and rained and rained and rained some more since we started living in this tent. NO LEAKS! It's not windy here. At most, we get very breezy so I cannot attest to the wind endurance. But the light wind has not been a problem at all. We did not use all of the tie outs because of the tarp in the front, but because we are living in this tent for the next month, we needed a place to shake off the mud before going into the tent. The tent is roomy. The partition makes it nice to separate a space for the kids and the engineering of the door was well thought out. We have 2 adults and two children plus what's left of our belongings in this tent. There's definitely space for a family camping trip. I would buy this again over the other options in the under $500 category. The price was the driving point in this purchase since the other tents we looked at were either $400 and up, or had terrible reviews. We looked at REI, Bass Pro and Cabellas, all of them had decent options but I'm really happy we went with this one and I would do it again. Just ... show more

We purchased this tent so that we could make room for our large dogs crate to fit in with us while we were camping. It was easy to set up and take down. It provided plenty of room for a queen size air mattress, full size air mattress and our large dog crate while still leaving room to move around and store our multiple duffel bags and other items. We stayed warm and protected on the cold windy nights. And the storage bag is larger then standard so it was easy to store away without having to squish and squeeze anything together to zip it up. The media could not be loaded. Genuinely assumed this could be a hit or miss product for me. Growing up, my dad and step mom had a three room style tent that was with us for a decade or more. This one is durable, is made of material that doesn’t make me feel concerned about rips or tears easily. I feel like the structure is sound but do feel there’s not enough secure or easy to secure stake sites. We couldn’t get it to stake under the doors and so the zippers weren’t taught and we struggled with that. We loved the space, it actually comfortably fit an intex double king sized air mattress in the side when I thought it might have to go in the middle. No bugs got in unless we were careless and we got a drizzle of rain and it was dry inside! Bottom stayed intact despite some rough dog nails etc. This is a killer purchase and worth it! Just do it and make yourself that extra room and little patio and put up the shade and project a movie if you get caught in some rain! ... show more

The electric cord slot is very convenient and you are not leaving any gaps for bugs to join you.
