The plate looks strong, the mounting nuts and bolts did not fit my Cub Cadet as the holes that were on my mower were too small for the bolts that were sent and therefore had to be drilled out. Also the bolts are long and due to the location of where the nuts have to go on, there is not enough room for a socket to get in there to tighten them and are metric. If you do not have ratchet wrenches on hand, you will be there all day trying to get this on. ... show more

Nice solid bracket. I have an older cub cadet with no holes for a hitch. I want to get a small garden trailer to hall stuff and a sprayer for my grass. No sense in doing more work than I need to. I found the center point of the back frame, put the bracket in the center, marked 2 holes in the slot of the bracket where I wanted the holes so I would have left and right flexibility and drilled. When done I put the bracket on with bonus lag screws they sent with the bracket for free which I was expecting to buy. 15 minutes later I have a hitch. ... show more

Sturdy, easy to install, and will meet my needs for a hitch to attach and pull yard implements such as a wagon, flatbed and lawn sweeper. Costs $40 to $50 less than some other products out there but serves the same purpose. A good purchase!
