Like many of us, I now predominantly work from home - one of the few good things that came out of the pandemic. My work desk is in my bedroom and I keep the news on during work. Pre-swivel stand, I found it awkward to have to look around or over my monitor or laptop as my TV was set up to "face" the bed..then I thought.. I need the TV to swivel! I did a little research, read tons of reviews and decided of this one. Assembly was super easy - make sure you read the instructions before you begin assembly (I'm mechanically inclined so it was very easy for me). Great buy! Really good product. We just moved into a rental. The last tenants were pretty rough on the place, and the owners had done a lot of work to get it ready for us. It seemed a more considerate route to mount our tv on a stand than to drill holes in the newly painted walls. Its a great stand. The tv sits and locks into a couple of hooks so moving it with the tv is a bit awkward as the locks are not all that strong. You will have to put it together. Other than that the stand rotates about 30 degrees each way, can be adjusted for height, and I am quite happy with it.

Like everything, just wish my TV was a bit higher. I have a 55" and by the time I put the TV on it only made between an inch and 2 inch difference.

    • It worked for my old 48 inch Insignia tv.

If you have a old flat screen tv, I definitely wouldn't recommend going over a 48 inch. My tv barely fit it's about two to three inches from the bottom base but it does turn from side to side. It worked for my old 48 inch Insignia tv.
