UPDATE: Seller Customer Service helped make this a great purchase experience. I spent a long weekend changing the factory stereo to this product for a teenage training vehicle. Here is my feedback: Pros: Factory speakers sound better with this head unit. Ample wiring length. Apple CarPlay compatible (with caveats) Cons: Rear camera quality slightly better than a potato. It’s awful, seriously. Teen has already backed into a pole & I was present when it happened. Teens fault, but the image presented is sorely lacking. The supplied FM harness did not fit OEM. There were notches in the Android that physically made fitment impossible. To that end, the FM radio reception is terrible. The microphone is a joke, with or without the wind suppression foam. Fail. The soft touch LED buttons on left panel light up ONLY when you’re deep within the customization menus. Otherwise, they are dark and ineffective during normal use, interior lighting on or not, it’s frustrating to have buttons that would be much more helpful if they would stay lit up. Apple CarPlay is slow slow slow because it’s the wireless version. Laggy. Comparing with a 2020 Chevy Equinox OEM radio, this is the single most disappointing feature and the sole reason I purchased this version. I even paid for the upgraded processor speed. Unacceptable. GPS is laggy as well. This is using the supplied antenna. Look, I have personally installed 10-12 stereo systems over 40+ years and as the saying goes “You Get What You Pay For” applies to this product. For the amount of time spent methodically installing each wire, testing fitment & all equipment before cable managing everything, I should have purchased a name brand product with better support. Just purchased a 2011 WRX and wanted carplay, This was one of the cheaper options then the Idoing unit everyone runs and with the coupon I only paid 125. First off This was one of the easiest things I've ever installed in my life, Some of the other reviews said the connector was wrong, but the pin inside the radio harness that was supplied with the unit looked bent a little so I straightened with some needle nose and it slid in. The lock for the tab goes inside which was a little strange & not how you think it would go. After install I couldn't get the radio to work, it since has started to work but the reception is spotty at best. I will say the output of this radio far exceeds the output of the factory unit my speakers seam louder then before. Next you have to connect to Bluetooth via the app not how most android units do it through settings which i found odd. Once connected the wireless Carplay with Zlink worked PEREFECT! one thing I didnt like is you cant move that app to the main screen or even move it to the 1st page of the apps. again annoying but I can live with it. The screen So far is nice , I have not found any dead spots & flicks and presses work 1st try. Its nice and bright with a good quality picture. Steering wheel controls are easily set up from a sub menu. If you are only using this for Apple carplay and dont mind clicking a couple couple buttons to get it going an waiting the 20-30 seconds to wireless connect, Pull the trigger you'll like it. If you listen to the radio alot or want everything to work perfect out the box with no issues maybe and dont want to mess around with anything spend more money and go with something else. ... show more

Bought this for CarPlay and it works but it lags horribly. If you skip a song it will be about two seconds before it starts the next song. When you use navigation it cuts the volume down for about 3 times as long as it should when the voice talks. The equalizer is TERRIBLE. The EQ presets are no good but the hifi setting is usable. You have to turn the volume 3/4 of the way up to get to normal volume. There’s no knob and the volume buttons are small. The included camera is crooked or something, the camera itself is mounted straight so I’m not sure what the deal is but it makes you think your backing on at an angle and your not. There a TON of junk on the system you don’t need if you just want CarPlay. I will say it was super easy to install. No wiring needed just remove old radio and surround piece and install this one and plug it in. Super easy. Remember, you get what you pay for and a similar radio would be 4x the price at best buy so expect some drawbacks. ... show more

Like the title says, you get what you pay for. You can only expect so much. That said, the screen is a nice size, the backup camera is decent enough, installation on our daughter's 2008 Impreza was pretty straight forward. Overall not a terrible product. For under $200 it is what it is and she's happy with it. If it were going in my car, I'd definitely spend the extra money and go with Kenwood, pioneer or another known and trusted manufacturer. However I can honestly say I'm disappointed with this. ... show more
