  • Perfect and impossible to source locally.
Just what I needed. TSC and Lowes do not carry this type of piece. If you're using the 6" to 8" increaser/reducer to go from a 6" stove pipe to an 8" chimney, you're doing it wrong without this. The crimps have to be on the 6" side down to the stove. Crimped 8" should go in the uncrimped 8" end of this adapter. Don't mess around with fire in your house if you aren't comfortable with it. ... show more

I made the mistake of first ordering a 6 to 8 inch expander. Wrong! I realized I needed an 8 to 6 reducer. IF you have a stove with a 6 inch flu that you need to fit to an 8 inch pipe, you need a reducer! If you have a stove with an 8 inch flu, that you need to adapt to a 6 inch pipe , you need an expander. Learn from my mistake. Product as advertised. Well made. No complaints! ... show more
