I mounted this storage box on the passenger side of the bed in a 2023 GMC 2500 Sierra HD. I did not set a stopwatch but I would bet it was less than 4 minutes to completely install and that included reading the instructions. Just your screw gun with a socket driver for tools is all that I used. Everything fit well and everything aligned as if GMC had made it. The included self drilling screws were of a noticeable high quality and quickly penetrated the side of the bed and drew snug commandingly. The storage is exactly what is needed in the bed of a truck. The overall design of the box in my opinion, is very well thought out with the addition of the storage tray and removal prevention lock for the hinge. The swing release handle (I’m making up the names here😀) works smooth and easy. It uses space that’s normally unused in a truck bed. The main flaw. The only flaw I can find is simple. 2022 Chevrolet 2500 I was genuinely surprised at the quality considering the low price. It is an essay install if you are handy. It took about 10 minutes to install. Capacity is more than I thought it would be and I was able to store basic tools, straps and recovery gear. Looks like the weather seal is fair but won't make the longhaul so be prepared to replace it at some point. You will have to drive in some included self tapping screws and possible adjustments once loaded. Definitely recommend this product. ... show more

Installed November 2022; 2022 Silverado HD D-Max! Was excited about purchase, install was super simple…Purchased to keep basic set of tools and ratchet straps. I probably opened/unlatched this thing a total of 15 times since installing it…NOT overused at all BUT…Went to pull the handle/latch today and it pulled completely off the box🤬. I wish the mount was behind the plug. Then the case would slide snuggly under the lip of the truck bed and actually over the wheel well. The only issue is that the bracket that locks it in would have needed to be cut and welded to be much shorter and moved. the tabs would have also needed cut off. As is, it is so far away from the wheel well, that you almost didn't need to have the arch in the box. It's a nice box, I really like the idea. I just wish the mount was moved back and in. Super easy to install. Functions great. Would LOVE to have a different mounting option. then I would buy another one and remount. ... show more

I want to state that this swing box is vehicle specific and this review is on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. If your like me, nothing goes as planned. Before I installed this box I watched a few instal videos online and thought that this is way too easy. Instructions were good w/ pictures but I got nervous when there were no actual measurements as to lining it up, it states "line up as shown" however, this was literally one of the easiest things I've ever done taking me about 15 minutes to install. It also comes with a pivot lock to keep a stranger from removing it as it is removable. I definitely recommend this box. ... show more

Fits under tonneau cover perfectly, very ez to install, like 5 minutes, tops. On my 22 GMC 3500 W/ Pro tailgate, have to remove grab handle, that I didn't use anyway. Would definitely recommend.

I bought 2 of these carriers for a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. The instructions are simple & clear to understand. The passenger side is easy to install. However, be careful installing the drivers side. You will have to remove the folding handle used when getting in the bed. There is no way around it. Not a deal stopper, but definitely a little disappointing. Also, when installing the clamp to swing the box against the side of the bed, you need to make sure it is properly placed as it can make it difficult to attach to the mount to keep it in place. ... show more
