    • Doesnt fit where it should, watch the guys video showing out stick out 5" from bed wall.
I have no idea why anyone is rating this 4 or 5 starts. I bought the discounted box, and i can see why it was returned. The other guys also never opened anything and neither did i. Waste of my time!!! I got really used to my side boxes on my Escalade EXT and thought this would mimic them. Not so whatsoever. They stick out and waste room when all they had to do was move the mount to the correct location or design the mount different. After i got it, there was some documentation on how it doesnt work with multi pro tail gate, yet in the answers above they say it does. Well, maybe if you waste all your cargo area. No reason for this to block the electrical outlet, the light. Could have been mounted farther forward, and tucked into the bed so its flush with wheel well so you can still use the rest of the bed. This is how my EXT was, full width bed expect for wheel well protrusion. Needs a WAY better design for that kind of money. I guess maybe some of these guys think its great, but if you have ever had other side boxes.......then you would know that it isnt. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So this product could have been designed to fit to better us the bed space and not be so obstructive to the electric outlet and the usable bed space, and the instructions for mounting the swing bracket are not totally correct which will cause miss alignment of the locking bracket if it is not proper. ... show more

    • Unlike other makes, you can NOT padlock the box onto your Chevy/GMC.
The box itself seems great. It's plastic, but seems sturdy. It has a lockable lid and comes w/ two keys. It has sufficient space for all your tie-downs and some smaller tools. It's a great design that doesn't compromise much space in your bed, and fits under a tonneau. However, I returned mine. Here is the big con: the lid is lockable, but the box itself does NOT lock onto the truck. It is intentionally very easy to remove from the hinges, so you can take your tools with you, or remove the box when you need to use that space. That's great for functionality, but not so great for security unless you use a tonneau all the time. So even if you lock the lid of your toolbox, your things aren't safe, because someone can just walk off with the whole toolbox. The Swingcase made for other makes has a loop for padlocking the box onto the truck to prevent this. But this 2019 GMC/Chevy version does NOT have that functionality. ... show more

had one of these in my pickup for the last 6 years ..traded for a 2019 GMC.. due to the handle on the left side needed a box to go on the right side of the box.. box was easily installed in less than 10 minutes and works fantastic. keep jumper cables wrenches and trailer ball and receiver hitch in the case, keeps everything protected and from sliding around in the box. it is hid due to the fact I have a truxedo cover.. if you're looking for something to organize your box of your pickup this is what you need....absolutely love it! ... show more

    • Good but buy when it’s discounted
The left and right are pretty easy to install. I will say that the catcher piece has the adjustable fit in the wrong direction in my opinion- it adjusts vertically and not horizontally. Driver side install was perfect. Passenger side the catcher piece is too close and doesn’t release easily. Might have to grind off some. The promo photos show it as a cooler but I don’t see like a drain plug to let loose when finished. FYI. ... show more

    • Installation and fit is accurate!
Installation on a 2019 Silverado was quick and easy with excellent directions. The box is a good size to hold all of my tie downs and straps along with other items and the tray is nice for smaller tools and what not. It swings and locks easily and fits nicely under my backflip revolver rolling bed cover. I also like how easily the box comes off the hinge if I need it to. I don’t think it has a lock notch to lock the box to the truck, but since mine is covered I’m not worried about it. ... show more

    • Well worth the money with a bed cover is the best of both.
Easy to install but on my Titan on both sides the bottom bolts tightens to a certain point and then the heads spun right off. No big deal but may wanna predrill the bottom bolts. Other than that installation took about 10 minutes per side. I only wish they were a bit bigger but they will hold what I need. Wound up buying both sides to fit it all but now my bed is free. ... show more

    • Fit my AT4 with the fancy tailgate
It was easy to install and has worked perfectly so far. I was a bit concerned about whether it would work with the fancy GMC tailgate—no problem. I may get one for the driver side, but that would require taking out the assist handle.
