I work from a home office, so I tend to get up less often for stretch breaks then I did when I worked at the business office. sometimes my knee gets sort of locked up from being bent in a particular posture for so long. I started using this elliptical pedal machine under my desk while I sit and work, so that I can keep my legs moving while I, myself, am not. I like that I can just set it to run and put my feet on it. This isn't "exercise"; in this mode, I'm not putting out any effort to move my feet, the machine just cycles my feet for me, pumping my legs up and down, which is good for lymphatic circulation as well as flexing my knees. A personal challenge I have is the height of my desk versus the height of my chair, versus the height of the elliptical pedals, which makes it so that my hips have to kind of splay out a little to let me knees fall a bit to the side when my legs go up so that they don't bump the underside of the desk. If I can raise my desk a couple of inches that would take care of it. There are a number of modes and speeds, but I've mostly allowed it to run at a low speed, with occasional reversing of direction, to keep my legs moving while I sit. The remote control is very handy so that I don't need to roll my chair back and bend over to reach under the desk to access the onboard control buttons. Great for mobility when you work at a desk for long periods of time like myself. I really feel this in my abs as well if you lean at an angle in your chair. Already assembled, just plug and use. Remote needs 2 AAA batteries before use. Quiet when in use! loudest thing is the beeps when changing to different modes. I've been enjoying using this as I work everyday. You can but don't need to use this under your desk of course. It is a small but very capable Elliptical Machine, Ellipse Leg Exerciser and not just for Seniors actually. And despite being compact I, at 6'3" can use it very well standing on it and it does give me a good workout as well!

It’s so darn difficult to exercise with our office jobs. We sit all day long! This is a mini seated elliptical to keep your legs pumping during the day while your making your calls or taking notes. Put this under my desk and it's super easy to use. No hassle and works well. You will need to plug it in to control resistance and track useage but overall, definitely a great acquisition.
