The media could not be loaded. So overall I really really like the hood. It’s 900cfm and compared to how loud they are this guy is very quiet. At max you may feel like you need to raise your voice a little but this is a very powerful hood so ai’m not sure what you’d expect. We had a 900 previously and we could not hold a conversation at all it was super loud. So to compare this is very nice! I love the glass I was afraid that black would show everything but the slant really is forgiving. The seller is very helpful and accommodating and that makes this even better. ... show more

I removed some kitchen cabinets and the previous vent was mounted to the cabinet. Tried mounting a standard vent to the ceiling but you had to be tall to reach it. I took this one to my local metal guy and hlm cut off 15 inches on both pieces (and and) so I would be over 30 inches away from the stove. Easy install and looks amazing. ... show more

No instructions to specific product. Just generic instructions included. But fairly easy to figure it out. I let it sit for a month while looking for someone to install it Finally decided to do it myself. Opened the box to find the glass cracked in half and all corners of both the enclosures bent. The body is so thin and flimsy that did not take much to bent the corners out of shape. The words part is that the lower enclosure has straight finished bottoms not fitting the surface of the fan body. The threads have burrs in them and you have to run a tap through them. The screws holding the rails together interfere with installation of the fan and light body. It is a cheap junk I regret buying, but unfortunately I could not fix my old Italian one. One more thing: I never encounter stainless steel staining as easily as this one! I'm afraid to use stainless steel cleaner we use on our refrigerator. I would gladly pay twice a price for good made in USA piece. We need to stop buying Chinese crapp. ... show more

Comes very well packed, like a flat screen. Clear instructions and hardware for under cabinet, wall or side mount. Fyi come with a 7" exhaust outlet, duct and house outlet has to purchase separately to your vent choice.
