This is my first kitchen scale and I like it a lot. I like how easy it is to tare is for any container you set on it and it stayed on long enough to do what I need to do. Another reviewer said it turns off too quickly, but I didn’t find that. I bought it so that I could make a cookie recipe that my Germany friend had given me. I much prefer measuring flour and other dry ingredients this way than cup measurements because I can use whatever container I want and don’t have to worry about it spilling over the edge. I love that I can now more easily make recipes from other countries that use weight measurements. It’s also very easy to clean and store. I can’t speak to its durability. ... show more

This small scale is accurate and convenient. It doesn't take up much space because of its size, which is nice in an apartment without a lot of countertop real estate to speak of. It's rechargeable, which is nice, and I found it very easy to use. Because it is so small, though, you have to be careful not to obscure the display with whatever you are measuring. It was very intuitive switching from measuring units, such as grams and ounces. And the tare function is really handy when you're putting various ingredients into a bowl, but want to keep the serving size consistent. All in all, it's a good product. ... show more

    • nice surface size
I like the surface size of this scale and the fact that it uses "normal" AA batteries. Our other scale used a round battery which were harder to source. It works fairly well. The frustrating thing for me is that when you press the tare button, it doesn't always zero out and I have to do it more than once or twice sometimes. As we weigh our 12 cats' food before feeding having to do this countless times for each cat gets a little tiresome. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with this and hope it holds up to the wear and tear we are giving it. ... show more
