Be advised, I almost tossed the packing out without noticing the batteries included with the scale. I assumed the low price was because batteries were not included, but I was wrong. So be sure to install the included batteries. The scale seems to work flawlessly. It can be a bit touchy, but that's probably because 1 gram of weight is almost undetectable, so I expect it to shift between a gram or two, either up of down. Remember those days standing in the kitchen, calculator in hand (or screaming at Alexa), converting a recipe from ounces to grams, milliliters to fl/oz and factoring the weight of the container in a hope to get the volumes right? You can leave them behind with this sleek looking scale, useful functionalities and small footprint. The press of a button was all it took last night for me to go from ounces to grams (unit button), remove the weight of the mixer's bowl or that of the pinch bowl (tare button) for easy and precise measurement. The scale has a small foot print and looks great. Putting it sideways in an overhead cabinet for easy access takes very little; leaving it on the counter will add to the looks of your kitchen. Measuring yeast down to the gram was very easy thanks to the precision of this scale. As usual I managed to spill flour and then water all over; wiping it off the device was a breeze. ... show more

Few things about the scale. The only (a little) annoying thing to me is, it got interfered with magnetic stuffs. If I put the scale close to other appliances, it sometimes would freeze. Not a big issue tho. The accuracy was OK. Since I can put heavy ingredients all on it, it's just a small drawback to me. The scale had weird behavior suddenly. It's probably because I put it on a pretty wet countertop. The surface is water-resistant but the back is not. The water probably leaked in somehow. I didn't had much hope but got a new replacement after emailing the customer service. Pretty impressive! (Oh well, I bought a new one anyway for backup just in case the scale malfunctions again. I bake almost everyday.) Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the scale and the customer service. ... show more
