I use herbal powder supplements everyday and it's essential to weigh them to maintain the consistency and to be safe. I have a home scale that I use but I needed a portable milligram scale but didn't want to spend a lot of money, and this scale worked out really well. to carry on to work and travel. It's extremely easy to use and the small scale comes with tweezers, spoon, weighing pan and batteries. With these small scales it's important to use it on a hard and flat surface for accuracy. This little scale is pretty and very accurate. I used my weights that are 1 gram, 2 gram, 5 gram, 20 gram and 50 grams to check accuracy. This is very precise! Even to the thousandth of a gram. If anyone is complaining about the accuracy of this scale, then I suspect they have a cell phone, iPad/tablet or computer within a close range. Keep all devices at least 6 feet away from the scale when measuring! Devices will throw off any digital scale that I’m aware of. ... show more

I accidentally spilled a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on it while I was spraying something and when I tried to wipe it off turned silver on that part. I would expect the coating to not turn so easily. In that case I would have ordered a silver one. They should include that in the listing that it will easily tarnish. I also don't think it's accurate. I calibrated it a few times and each time I went to test measure something it kept reading different results each time for the same item. I make cosmetic products so I need it to be accurate and not weighing random numbers each time. Disappointing but now I need to look for another one. 3 stars because it arrived on time and looks as pictured and I liked it came with batteries and a weight but that's about it. ... show more
