  • Well made, sturdy
This is a good small rack for lumber etc. Ok for inside your garage. Compact, not meant for huge piles of lumber

  • Strong
Good product. Does the job.

  • Sturdy but could be a bit deeper
I ordered these to go on a lean to wall that I have and ended up running bolts and nuts through metal beams to hold these up. They come with lag screws but they will not work on metal if that is what you have. These racks are pretty sturdy and the only thing I saw slightly wrong with them is that the tops of two of them seemed ever so slightly not level as in bend down when they welded them together. It is not noticeable really by eye but I could tell with a level. Once I installed these they were really strong and I could put a good amount of my own weight on them and they held in the beam great. Overall, I like these but I do think that the arms could be a little longer or further out from the wall and it would be nicer if they were taller as well. Since I am using it for molding and PVC piping it works, but if I wanted to put some lumber in there it would only take a few boards before there was no room. ... show more

  • Great for moderate load usage!
These are a good price for what they provide - the listed weight limits have been true to the word thus far. These racks hold a solid amount of old spare wood, and it's elevated up and away from most of the bugs and critters, as well as declutters that ever so valuable floor space in my cluttered garage. This is a great way to make use of an empty wall space - so long as it's still low enough for you to easily load and unload items onto it. Don't make the mistake I did initially of mounting this too high for me to effectively load anything onto it! I'd recommend these for the price. Just one caveat - they are only ever as strong as the wall fastening job you do. Make sure these are absolutely anchored into the wood studs (or similar) in your wall. I used even longer screws than the manufacturer provided, though theirs probably would have been sufficient (I opted to be extra safe). This is one of those times where you want to quadruple check your stud location and definitely use a stud finder. ... show more

  • More Space in my Garage! Neater! Organized!
My Ultrawall Lumber Storage Rack/Wall is a blessing. I've been standing my spare wood on end up against my garage wall for 5 yrs. You know what happens, it's always in the way, always sliding sideways & falling over, sometimes on something valuable like the vehicles. I was sick of what I had. To the rescue comes AMAZON with their Ultrawall Lumber Storage Rack. I had some doubt but I ordered it anyway. It's wonderful. Solid, thick steel wall racks that have been powder coated and will hold weight up to 220 lbs per level. So easy to install. Make your measurements, find a stud in your wall to bolt the lag bolts into, tighten down & your done. Quick, clean, sturdy and now my wood is off of the floor which gives me more space in my garage! In the photo you can see the two racks that I installed in my garage just today! Those racks are 12" down from the ceiling and 50" apart. The recommended distance between the brackets is 4 - 6'. The wood you see on the rack is 8' long. I have more to place on the rack but wanted to take the pics and write this review so that other AMAZON customers can see what a fine product this is. No question, it gets 5-Stars for sure! My wife is trying to talk me into putting the other set up outdoors on our block wall, near our swimming pool for all of the skimmers, etc. that we use in conjunction with the pool. The powder coating should keep them shiny and new. Get a set of these soon, you won't be sorry! ... show more

  • Easy to install
Good little system for storing lumber. They're sturdy and painted with a visible color so I don't run into them. 4 pack works great for 20' sticks.

  • Not great.
Angles are not square; rungs are not even parallel. Good welds, just not welded in the right positions.

  • Simple solution and easy to install but could be taller
Review of: **Ultrawall Lumber Storage Rack Wall Mount Wood Storage Racks, Metal Wood Organizer Racks for Shed, Workshop, Garage, Holds Up 220 LBS Per Level (Pack of 4, Orange)** I mounted one pair of these racks in an outbuilding on my property to use for storing some equipment and lumber. Mounting was fairly simply, drilling holes into some upright 2x4's (secured to a wall) and then screwing in the lag bolts to secure the brackets. It took about 5-7 minutes to mount the pair. One up, I used a 1x10 board I had around to make the top into a shelf and left the two bottom bars open. These do seem to securely hold a pretty good load, but I certainly have not gotten anywhere close to the claimed 660lb max load (220lb per level). I actually think that max load rating is a bit optimistic, but I can't confirm if that is really the case. These do look pretty good if you don't mind the bright orange color the paint is good quality and no noticeable blemishes) and the end of each bar has a nice cap covering the opening. Good quality overall. As to whether these are a good buy at $50 (for the set of two pairs and mounting bolts), I'm on the fence a bit. At $30-$35, these would be great. At $50, it's a little bit less compelling. I still think it's a good product, just a tiny bit on the expensive side. ... show more
