I’m not into vlogging or any of that stuff, I just take a lot of photos, and this grip makes it so much easier! I never realized what a struggle it is to hold your phone for photos until I put this on and was able to do it all one handed like a real camera! The dedicated photo button is awesome and it’s a bonus that it pops off to use as a remote, instead of using the on-screen buttons, AND it’s got a standard 1/4-20 thread on the bottom so it will attach to any tripod or GoPro mount! It’s also not bulky and doesn’t draw attention like those big camera-rig gimbal things. If you’re just a casual photographer, or even more than casual, this is a perfect piece of gear! Overall this is a nice accessory for mobile photography. The device has a good hand grip and holds my phone securely. The cold shoe mount is a nice touch as well. I only wish this had a light instead of a magnetic mirror. The mirror is in the center of the the holder and not in line with the phone lenses so it’s not very useful for framing the shot while vlogging. I just wanted this to help take better angles of pictures with my S21 ultra. I did not think I was getting a multi-purpose stand as well!!! Talk about value for money!!! - Someone complained it's "too small" I'm not sure what kind of ogre hands they have, I wear size Large gloves for men and the grip is perfect for me. I do prefer to wiggle my phone a bit "up" or to the left of the grip, so there's a 1/4 inch where I can rest my palm against the grip and not the phone if that makes sense. - I have a rhinoshield case on my S21 Ultra and it fits into the grip just barely. It's snug, but that's what you want! It's sturdy and the phone is not going to fall out at all. I'm confident you could sprint with this in your hand and the phone wouldn't fall or come dislodged. - I do wish the shutter button could be clicked to open the camera app, but it just engages the volume button. Which is odd... But once you're in the camera app, the shutter button works fine. Took bluetooth a few tries and power cycles to see the Ulanzi but that's fine. It syncs up quickly now whenever I turn it on. - See the attached photos for how you can use it as a stand. It's kinda sweet! I think I'll just keep it on my phone all the time, except for when I charge it at bedtime. I included a coke can for size comparison. - For the price, you really can't go wrong with this grip/stand/wireless-photo button!! ... show more

It’s pretty good as far as your phone feeling like a camera the only thing I don’t like is the button comes off easily so if you grip too hard with your finger it can pop out and you can possibly drop your phone and damage it just cause of that

This grip solved many problems I saw with other smartphone holders, such as being able to add a microphone and light for making smartphone videos. . Unlike some camera holders with pole like handles, this grip allows the user to set the smartphone down, due to a flat surface bottom, even when a light and microphone are attached. . The cold shoe allows a light such as the Ulanzi, with it's own cold shoe mount, to hold a microphone on top of the light. .     • This is a great little phone accessory.
I love the remote capability. As it turns out, that is probably the only aspect of the device I will be able to use. My phone "goes to sleep" if I don't use it and I have to enter my PIN to wake it up. I can't do that while riding a bicycle. My main use for this was to have the phone handy and be able to use it one-handed to snap a photo while riding. Can't blame the device though. It does what it is supposed to do. ... show more
