The hose is great. The fittings on the ends are 1.75 inches. It fits on the vacuum but not into side of pool. Couldn't find an adapter with a reducer from 1.75 to 1.25. Husband found some parts around the house that made it work. I do like the hose tho and the price was great. Fast delivery too

We bought this a year ago and it snapped today. We always let the water drain out and let it dry and then store it. It’s just not built for long term use I suppose. It is a great hose until it snaps
