  • Sturdy Frame: The honeycomb bed is constructed from Aluminum honeycomb gridwork and metal border, and is attached with rivets. It's quite lightweight which made it easy to move around. The honeycomb gridwork is secured with multiple metal posts to make it stronger. It doesn't deform when you hold it.
  • Measurements Markers: With this new version, we have added clear measurement marks on the edge of the laser bed. The measurement markings that make it real useful for placement. Also very handy for measuring materials for cutting and engraving projects.
  • Better Appearance: The honeycomb grid with equal spacing. The unit is painted black throughout, will not rust, frosted surface, more beautiful, black than silver is more resistant to dirt, but also can greatly reduce the adhesion of soot particles when cutting.

It seems okay though the plastic corner pieces are easy to lose. I just realized that this bed is aluminum and not steel so I can't use magnets to hold down the work peice. Bummer. I'll have to figure out something else.

I purchased this expecting it to be the 400mm x 430mm, it is much smaller than that. So disappointing, why can’t companies just be honest with their customers?

In the past when I engrave sometimes the laser will cause smoke to damage the project as it burns. This work platform saves most of that happening by letting the smoke pass down if needed and air will take it away. This also saves my work table from getting etched by the laser from the aluminum plate on the bottom. This kit gave 8 rubber corners where I put 4 on the bottom of the aluminum plate from moving and on top of that allows a air gap below so becomes a heat barror to the surface. I also put 4 on the bottom of the work platform to sit on top of the aluminum plate and not to move. The work platform or work grid is also made of aluminum and seems to be hard to damage. I also like the edges are riveted together so it won't come loose over time like screws do. I am counting this to last for a very long time so I don't have to buy another one but if I had to these don't cost alot so I would. Hope I don't and have Good Luck with this one but just incase.
