  • Super cold
Style: 14,000 BTU Inverter + WiFi
This thing works awesome. My smaller unit couldn’t handle new apartment. This thing gets cold fast and feels like it would freeze water if put in front of it. Fan is loud at full speed but doesn’t drown out everything. More like a hum. On eco mode I rarely get water from it as of now. I use a bucket and provided hose so I don’t have to drain it. Works with my Alexa. ... show more

  • 3-car Garage use
Style: 14,000 BTU Inverter + WiFi
I'm using this in our oversized 3-car garage, just for a little relief. It's a substantial unit, 65lbs I believe it said. Seems to be built very well. I wouldn't say it blows HARD, but it's definitely COLD! You can see in my photos, I added a cheap $20 box fan to help distribute the air across the garage. I had trouble reaching my window overtop of my work bench (with it's included plastic venting hose), or next to it for that matter, so I set it on the workbench and screwed down a couple short 2x4 pieces to surround it and keep it in place. The exhaust hose does get very hot, so I recommend getting an insulating sock for it, which completely cuts off the heat problem. $20 on amazon. I did buy 25 feet of 1/2 clear tube to help evacuate the gallons of water this is currently making everyday. Texas heat and humidity! Middle plug, and it works great to run it out of the garage. I was NOT able to get it to pair with my iPhone 14's bluetooth at the time of this review, but, that's not all that important. I plan to leave this thing running 24/7. ... show more

  • Should have known :(
Style: 14,000 BTU + HEAT + UV-C
I have had a Honeywell A/C unit rated for 450 sq feet for about 3 years. It has worked fine, but as I have a 500 sq ft apartment I decided to try to upgrade to get a cooler environment. I THOROUGHLY researched all of my options. As I have been experiencing allergies, I was excited to find the UV light filter on this model. I looked for other brands with this feature to compare, but all others were nearly twice the price/had a much higher cooling capacity than I needed. After much deliberating, I bought this unit rated for 600 sq feet thinking it would surely cool my small studio apartment. I was wrong Installation was easy enough and went very quickly, but that is where the ease ended. I read the manual and tried to get the unit working, but discovered a few of the buttons on the remote do not even do anything, and the touch screen style buttons are very finicky and have multiple functions—meaning if it interprets one press as two presses, you are now stuck in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit rather than just switching to fan mode. Not too big of an issue as I keep it in air conditioning mode exclusively. However, I did expect that the air conditioning would work better. I pressed the “turbo” mode on the remote (which is supposed to turn all functions to max in order to cool the room as quickly as possible). It was on turbo for three days straight and never hit the set temperature. I live in Southern California, so it’s only fighting maybe 85F outside. And I have my apartment divided in half by a curtain to even further make the area I’m trying to cool smaller. So maybe 200 sq ft. And it still couldn’t get down to temperature. The air coming out of the unit is cold, but it doesn’t seem to have enough force to circulate it. I ended up hooking up my older less powerful unit and it worked better. After a few days and some slightly cooler outside temps, I tried to work the Turbro unit again. This time I realized the major design flaw in the unit. The temperature gauge is located right where the cold air comes out. This means that all night while trying to sleep, the unit would turn on a/c mode then turn just to fan mode then back to a/c mode every 5-10 minutes as it would sense the cold air coming out, think the room was cold, turn off, realize it wasn’t cold, turn back on, etc. this was not a quiet process. What made it even more frustrating was that while most units display the actual temperature of the room, this unit only displayed the set point. I had to purchase a separate indoor thermometer to see what my room actually was. Even after multiple days of running set to 64F, the thermometer set maybe four feet away consistently reads 75-80 during the day. It may seem a great deal to get the UV and A/C in one, but save your money. Should have known it was too good to be true. ... show more

  • The unit seems good but not the remote.
Style: 14,000 BTU Inverter + WiFi
the unit works really well so far (about 1 week). the instructions are some of the smallest print i have ever seen in a manual. the remote wouldn't link but after many attempts it finally did. it worked for a day and quit. tried linking many times again to no avail. i think it is defective. it is quiet and cools my 925 sqft house enough for my liking. i haven't had to dump it yet so the evaporator is working well in michigan heat/humidity. i haven't used any options other than cool with auto fan so i can't comment on them. i probably shoudn't knock it down so much over a remote but if you sell something as a perk it should at least work. i would still suggest this unit for cooling. ... show more

  • Works great
Style: 14,000 BTU + HEAT + UV-C
We’ve had it set up in the basement for about 3 weeks now and although it doesn’t seem to draw a lot of humidity from the air it does blow very cool and is fairly quiet. It does seem to produce and drain a substantial amount of water. We haven’t tried the heat setting yet, we’ll wait fir the winter

It works great but really uses up the electricity.

  • Portable Ac
Style: 14,000 BTU + WiFi
I had this portable ac for two weeks and then out of nowhere I heard a loud bang and it no longer works. Contacted help support and they are sending out a new one. Hopefully this one works out. Aside from that it does blow out pretty cold air and reaches a pretty decent distance.

  • Perfect all in one unit.
Style: 14,000 BTU + HEAT + UV-C
I really like that this unit is nice and compact but still has options for a/c, heat, dehumidifier, and fan. It fits really close to the wall and the exhaust hose and window mount don't take up hardly any room. I use a 5 gallon bucket for the drain line hidden. The remote will control everything and more. Instructions are easy to follow and set up is simple. I'm amazed how well this unit works with all it's settings. It will cool my room in minutes or have it toasty warm. It's perfect for my bedroom and I can easily move it to my living room if I want. I use the fan a lot because it will usually cool off my room on its own. It's amazing how much moistue this will pull out of a room to. I can tell the difference now I don't have a musty smell anymore.Having a timer for on and off is great . That way if you dose off or need to leave you don't have to worry about it continually running or you can have it start up before you get home . This unit works even better than I hoped it would. I'm glad I saw this and would recommend it to anyone. ... show more
