I hated pumping with my son. Had the classic spectra sit down pump and the hard flanges were uncomfortable and I hated being stuck there. So with my daughter I now have even more to do and the convenience of being able to be mobile with these pumps is a game changer. I love the soft flanges too. Really comfortable in my nursing tanks, and the extra bra extenders are a very thoughtful addition because I did need them to put in my nursing bra. They don’t fit my snaps perfectly, but it does the job and I usually wear tanks anyways so they stretch out enough to hold without the extension. Easy to clean so far, I’ve used the dishwasher and everything was fine, but since then I’ve just washed in hot soapy water and it’s simply quicker and then I have everything washed and dried by the time I need them again. I’ve used probably 5-7 times so far? I haven’t had to recharge yet but I also don’t pump for long. I just want to get the bulk of the milk out and then I let baby drain completely because she is the most efficient at it and it gives her more hind milk. Since she always quits before she gets enough hind milk when I give her a full boob lol I read lots of reviews before ordering so I’m trying to be specific so it may help someone else. These are definitely a great buy and I loved the sale price, but I’d say they are worth the full price also. I compared to many others as we have to be very conscious of where we spend our money, especially in this economy. I almost wanted to go with the separate motor model where the cups are attached with tubes and a motor you can wear in your pocket, I thought it would be more lightweight and comfortable for the boobs, but these are still lightweight and comfortable so I am glad I got these and I have no regrets. I think the tubes would have been an added hassle and my worries were proved wrong and I love the comfort and convenience. I read a review (I don’t remember for which pump it could have been any of the pumps I looked at so I won’t say it was for this or that it wasn’t), the review said that they leak if you bend all over and there is a little opening at the very top where I can see that maybe happening if you try to do cartwheels lol but I haven’t had any leaking issues and try to keep as upright as possible but I have also done laundry and bent over and been fine. Seems to be high quality materials that take heat well. No complaints from me at all, I am very happy that I got these and would recommend 100%. Oh and the accompanying flange inserts for different sizes are also soft and comfortable and fit perfectly and work well. Oh and the noice is fine. It isn’t quiet enough to not wake the baby up but my baby is easily woken up lol it doesn’t bother me at all but it is the standard pump sound and nothing special or extra quiet. ... show more

I have the almeda mya joy pump through insurance, it's ok, but definitely not very easy as you're tied to the cords. I gave in and ordered this portable pump and I'm so glad I did. I didn't want to spend too much money on one and this is probably just as good as the name brands. It works really well, is strong, and doesn't leak. It is louder than my mya joy, but that's not an issue for me. I usually only pump for a total of ten minutes, with the first two on the stimulation mode. I think I get more from this pump than the mya joy. The only con is that it's hard to see how much milk is there or when the milk has stopped pumping as the cups kind of fog up. I have to take it out of my bra to see how much I pumped. It's not really a problem as I just pump for ten minutes, max 15. I mainly use this for middle of night pumps so I don't have to get up and set up the corded pump. Because this works so well, I plan on taking this when I go back to work to pump. The battery lasts a good three pumps at least, and it comes with the charging cables which is a plus. For this price, I'm really glad I got this pump. ... show more

So I originally had the hands free elvie for my first pump. $500 and gifted to me I couldn't complain. I thought it did great until I got my Spectra S1. Then I realized the elvie was complete crap. Leaked when you bent over, got a quarter of what the spectra would get, and a pain to clean. It also needed to be charged after every use. I wanted a hands free pump just to live in the diaper bag but didn't want to spend money on it so I came across these, on sale, 2 for $70, what could go wrong? They collect just as much as my spectra does in about the same time. There is a catch tho, after 4 oz it looses suction so you have to empty and go again. Doesn't really bother me to be honest. There isn't a great way to empty them but I haven't spilt milk yet so they aren't terrible in that department, just not great. They aren't quiet but they work! I have yet to have them leak. Now I haven't put them to the ultimate test and scrubbed my baseboards with them, but I can fold my laundry and wash dishes without them leaking, something I couldn't do with the elvie. I've used these about 5 or 6 times now and have yet to charge them, still has 2 out of 3 bars and I haven't noticed loss in function. AWESOME! They aren't the best design for cleaning but every peice comes apart and it's easier than the elvie so I guess it's a win. All in all, for the price you pay, these are absolutely AMAZING. I find myself using these more than my spectra now which I was not expecting. ... show more
