This tree works great in our motorhome. It's pretty, and fits nicely onto one end of the dashboard, still leaving plenty of open space on the dash. The unit holds steady when a cat is scratching the post. It was easy to assemble. When on the road we'll take it off the dash and transport it on the couch (don't drive your motorhome with this visual obstruction on the dash!). I got this cat tree because I intended it for my cat to be in high places but it's only 2 feet which is kind of what I expected from the images. It was so easy to put together but it wasn't very clear because I didnt know where to put the screws but turned out I had to make a hole with the screw to put in place. It is very sturdy but the bottom part with he two rest ares dont connect so it moves around a lot but not a problem for me. When I got it, I decided to use it as a scratcher for my cat and a bed instead of buying both those things separately. It looks very nice and cozy and I like that its not bland, it adds a theme to it which I like! When buying this I recommend just having a high place for the cat such as a book shelf or window. ... show more

I was a bit worried when it arrived because the box was quite small, but to my surprise it came together exactly as described. I was hoping it would be bigger, but honestly worried that it was going be smaller than I anticipated. I was actually worried it was going to be tiny, but it's exactly what I expected. Quality is pretty good and I have no complaints there. Took about 10 minutes to put together even though the directions were weak, but I figured it out as soon as I looked at all the parts. For the price ($30) it's about what I expected, but I don't like the exposed screws. They are not sharp and they lay flat, but it would be nicer if you didn't see the screws. I'm also not sure how kitties will like them or if they'll even notice them. It had a bit of a chemical smell out of the box so my kitty has not played on it yet; she sniffed it and walked away. We've had it for a few months now and it still has the chemical smell and our kitty still hasn't been played with. The smell is starting to go away so maybe soon she'll want to play with it. It seems sturdy enough, it's not very tall, if it was taller I'd say it was not sturdy enough. ... show more

They have never used a tree the way they use this one. The size is good - not to large or too small. Sturdy and the color is true - no odor either which was awesome. I sprinkled some catnip on it the day it arrived to get them comfortable and interested. They love the leaves at the top. Worth it.
