I ordered this kind of heater in the past and they were all pretty much the same, but this year (winter 2023/24) I had to make three attempts before I found this brand. I have two of the TrustTech brand now and just ordered a third one. My experience with the other brands I ordered was: the first brand was loud and emitted cold air on the left side, the second brand had screws floating around in its interior and the fan in there had come loose when I received it, the third brand had hot air on the right side and a lot of cold air blowing on the left side - at the same time!! THIS ONE REALLY WORKS :) The quality of the two I have of the TrustTech brand has been consistent so far. Warm on the entire surface on the Heat #1 setting, very warm and cozy and quiet (which is very important to me when I am working). I even called the company directly. It's a whole process for them to do a return. Custumer service was super friendly and this heater has great reviews, it's perfect for the space and a great price so .... What am I doing wrong? The instructions are so simple, right?! Before plugging in, make sure switch is in the OFF position (ie the "o"), then plug in. Then flip switch to ON ("|") and turn on power. Nope. Nothing happens. So annoyed. Going to try a second return request ... show more

So it helps with keeping a room heated without turning on the heat. It’s not phenomenal but for what it is - I think it works great. I love the fireplace detail makes it relaxing to have on. It’s a little loud when the temp is high.

After five years, this thing is going still going strong. I use it in a 100 sqft ADU, where I keep a bunch of acoustic guitars. The temperatures at night in the winter can get as low as 39 degrees Fahrenheit, with humidity in the 40 percent range. This is not a suitable environment for wood instruments. This heating unit heats that space nicely. With the help of a separate temperature controller and humidifier, I keep it at a cozy 65 degrees and 60 percent humidity. The reason for a separate temperature controller is that the dial-type temperature controller on the unit is not precise enough for my application. The problem is that there is too big a gap between the on-off temperature for accuracy. However, if you are okay with the temp straying a bit, then this unit by itself will do the trick and continue to do it for years! ... show more
