  • Small package, great performance.
Mounted this little wizard on an AR 7.5" pistol build on a UTG Super Slim carbine length handguard. I mounted it at the very front top of the pic rail and mounted my front BUIS just behind it. I can activate it with either my thumb or my forefinger from either side. This laser is so small and is very well made, holds zero impeccably, The laser is not the strongest, hard to see in daytime, but is very good in low light or at night. Perfect for my PDW. I would definitely recommend it for a pistol or a rifle. Great price and friends were amazed at the small size, easy set-up, and ergonomic buttons. ... show more

  • Perfect for routine carry on compact or sub-compact
Read many reviews on this cool little piece of kit and agree with all positives and have issues with most negatives - first, if you are going to war or are law enforcement, then get something else - but if you are looking for something ultra small for a routine carry weapon, then this is your product - fits perfectly on my CZ P10 S as pictured - activation switch is perfectly located and easy to operate - weighs nothing - easy to zero at any distance past 10 feet - some have complained about not enough upward zero adjustment - if you are having this problem your zeroing target distance is too close - if you need a functioning laser to hit a target inside 25 feet , then you shouldn’t own a weapon - it is bright enough inside 50 feet in daylight conditions, easily 100 feet at night - again if your anticipated targets are outside that range then you need to outfit with something bigger and more powerful Just don’t know about battery life yet - but you should be mostly training on iron sights and not the laser - zero the laser, finish your training time with laser on and then going back and forth between laser on and off to get the feel for the difference (because you should never completely depend on a piece of electronics to put a round on target) - this will save your laser battery life for engaging real targets ... show more

  • Fits Springfield XD Mod.2 Perfectly!
This laser is much smaller than I originally thought which is good because it fits my Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm perfectly. I have yet to test it at the range but I'm hoping that it will work just fine. I read many of the other reviews for this laser and so far I have not had the problems that others have had with it. I will re evaluate once it is range tested. Stay tuned ***update*** After taking it to the range and zeroing the laser to my round impact group I have found this laser to be perfect for my gun and it works well with my Remora holster. I have been carrying it concealed and the laser adds very little weight to the gun. The only downside to this laser is that it gets dirty easier with the shorter barrel guns (3-3.5" barrels). But, if you clean your gun regularly it is not an issue. I would definitely recommend this laser to anyone with a new XD Mod.2 as it fits perfect and is lightweight! The laser is also extremely bright! ... show more

  • No way to aim it UP properly, and it’s a bottom mounted laser.
I wanna start off by saying that I love this laser and I really wanted it to work. It’s super tiny and compact. It negates the main reason why I don’t like adding accessories to my firearms which is the contribution to the overall bulk. In addition I found the laser to be well powerful enough and despite many people saying otherwise. This is obviously something you’re going to put on a handgun and a compact one at that so you’re not looking for a laser that will show up at 200 yards and bright daylight. This laser was easily seen in the middle of the day against a tree trunk and a roof from 30 yards. So it’s plenty powerful at self defense handgun range in any lighting conditions. I found that it held it’s zero pretty well once I put some Loctite on the aiming screws. Seems to be sturdy enough. So let’s talk about that and why I gave it a one star rating. Well clearly this is meant to be mounted on the underside rail of a weapon. The location of the switches in the overall design indicates this is not a slide mounted laser, and if you were to somehow mount it on the slide, I don’t think it would take the recoil shock for very long. And that’s where the problem is: the zeroing range. If you’re going to mount this on the bottom of the barrel then you’re going to have to raise the point of aim up in order to zero it. Pretty much out of the box it was as far up as the dot was going to go. I could’ve lowered it pretty easily and it had plenty of side to side range, at least two or three MOA. But there’s no way I was able to raise the dot hardly at all without the set screw coming right out of the bottom. So the best you could get is a beam parallel to your barrel and keep in mind the offset while you shoot. And that’s pretty much what I had to do. I did try shimming the rail mount to aim it up just a tad and that allowed me to get a closer to zero, but the shim materials are going to compress and shift over time, and that’s going to change your aiming point. Truglo says the gun is the problem. I put this on a Beretta 92, arguably one of the most popular 9mm handguns in the world, so if it won’t work with that, it’s not a very good design. The fact is a bottom mounted laser is going to need a fair amount of Upward MOA to raise up, and this comes with very little. One other caveat, as compact and small is this laser is, it is a bit wide, and you can tell by the photos that it squared off. So if you have a really narrow gun you might find it tugging on your holster a bit. A little smoothing off of the corners or beveling along with fixing the ability to aim the laser higher up with make an excellent redesign suggestion, that would make this thing a gem. ... show more
