  • Not worth the cost
Easy to put together. Materials are light, but it isn’t as sturdy as I’d wished. The bottom tray was poorly assembled, and will not slide into place, and the metal sheet doesn’t fit correctly in the one I received, so after assembling, I cannot use the tray OR the housing until I fix this because the house has gaps if it’s not in place. The wood was also cracked in several places, not cut correctly, and a couple screws were not attached to the wood, but drilled through the metal sheet. After using my own hardware trying to keep it together, the metal sheet will not sit correctly and could not support the ducks. ... show more

  • My two girls and their condo
My two girls (Pekin ducks) absolutely love this house. Warm with plenty of room and being able to lift the top is extremely helpful when it comes to gathering eggs and cleaning their house. The house is very simple to assemble and made of cedar, I'm very, very happy with the purchase of this house .

  • Not for the long haul
It is a wonderful starter house or a place to keep a naughty bird from the flock but I’m not even a full month into this and it’s already falling apart. Very easy assembly, fits my 3 ducks well, the removable tray makes clean up easy but it is real flimsy soft wood. Easy enough to reinforce but it’s very clear I need a more stable and well reinforced home for my birds. I’m not confident this thing will survive the winter. For short term use, it’s just fine. ... show more

  • Works for our three ducks
Enough room for our three Pekin ducks and their overnight water bowl. They can move around and they have a spot to lay their eggs. It is a bit rickedy/wobbly and we will have to add some brackets to stabilize it better but overall suits our needs. Easy to assemble and functional as built.

  • Sturdiness
So I have only owned this for 8 months maybe and it did good but after dealing with rain it's completely broke apart 2 days ago. It's okay and worked great all around but definitely not a long term thing. Not really worth $200. If it was $60-$80 yeah maybe but the price is too much for how long it lasts. ... show more

  • Updated my previous review- fell apart
*second update- this is un-usable after 6 months. I had patched it up the best I could with bolts screws hinges- it’s destroyed and I’m afraid it’s going to collapse on them. In the last photo, you can see it laying in a pile of wreckage to the left, less than 1 year later, behind the replacement I was forced to buy. *update- this has completely fallen apart 2.5 months in, and it’s kept under cover and gently handled. I’m using this in a covered and fully enclosed run for my 2 Pekin ducks to sleep in. Like the other reviews state, this is very flimsy. It’s made of incredibly soft wood. It went together totally fine UNTIL it was time to put the roof on. The placement for the bottom of the hinges was not marked so I placed them where I thought they should go, and when I closed the lid the entire left side panel busted into 4 pieces. So I’m using it without the hinges and will have to l-bracket it together for longevity. It’s rickety anyway, and I’m not sure it’ll keep predators away or stand up to the elements if it’s not under cover. It is, however, inexpensive compared to other duck houses, has good ventilation, the removable bottom for easy cleaning is a plus and it’s large enough to fit my two boys, so it gets 3 stars from me! ... show more

  • Ducks love it.
this duck house was extremely easy to assemble, and my ducks love it.

  • Not what expected
Came poorly assembled. Front panel was not screwed in properly, pieces came out. It’s definitely not water resistant so unless your ducks are inside then I wouldn’t buy it. It’s cute but not at all what we will need for our babies
